Let's Go Fly A Kite

Hi everyone, thanks for visiting me. The challenge for the next week
at  Make My Monday  is   Let's Go Fly a Kite.
Please pop over to the blog to see the DT's inspiration.
For my card, I remembered from way back I had a pad of
pretty papers that had some kites in the pack.  How lucky was that?
The background papers are are from the paper pad Let's Fly Away,
free with Quick Cards ages ago.
The main stamped  image is by LOTV- Tree House
Coloured with Promarkers.
The additional kites were made free hand, plus two from the
background papers on the sentiment from my stash.
Have fun everyone.

One Layer Only

Hello, thanks for visiting my blog and of course for any
comment, which is always appeciated.
Today at My Time To Craft our challenge is for a
One Layer Card
There are several interpretations of what is a one layer card?
We would appreciate you following the requirement on the blog,
so please pop over to check them out and to see the DT's ideas.
For my DT card, I decided upon a CAS card.
I love many of the Little Dinkie stamps from Little Claire,
this set of pots being one. I have coloured with Promarkers.
Drawn a few doodle lines to frame the pots and the sentiment.
Have fun with your one layer card and don't forget to pop back again.

Mum's Rule UK Mother's Day

Hi everyone, hope your well, thanks for your visit.
Today, at Fantasy Stampers there is a new challenge for two weeks,
It is Mother's Day in the UK on March 6th.  Our challenge is
Mum's Rule  -Mother's Day, but if your not in the UK why don't you
prepare in advance for your own Mother's Day.
Please pop and see the Design Team's  created wonders.
For my card for the team, I have chosen, lilacs and purples, which
are apparently the most favourite colours in the spectrum.
The side panel is from a Craftwork Cards paper pad - Velvet Plum
which has been fussy cut, glitter and purple gems added.
The sentiment is from a Papermania Bellisima paper pad set.
The lower right corner has all been stamped, using stamps
from Honey Doo stamps - Flowers By Design.
The assembled flowers have been glittered with a pink pearl
added to centre of the flower,
Have fun.

Hello everyone, thanks for your visit.
Today is the first day of the challenge for the next two weeks at
I had great fun with this challenge which is.....
Through A Window
The Design Team have again created wonderful inspiration.
Please pop over to check out the challenge blog.
For my card, I have created a window looking into a cafe.
I covered the front of a 6" square card with brick paper, from
my go to CD - The Best of La Pache 2012.
I used a circle die to create the aperture.
I covered the inside of the front with acetate, adding the
strips of white card  for the  wooden window sections.
On the cut out for the aperture I stamped
LOTV - Coffee Break
Coloured with Promarkers.,
Glued the circle to a piece of card, then added to the  inside of the card.
CAFE is die cut using Sapphire Alphabet Upper case letters.

Hi, welcome to my blog, thanks for the visit.
Well, I can't believe it! we have again reached the end of the
For the letter Z - the challenge will be
ZOO ANIMALS
Please pop and check out the wonderful ideas from the DT.
It is important for your animal to live in a zoo.
For my card, I have chosen a free digi stamp from the internet.
Like trains two Zoo animal challenges came along in the same week.
I was lucky to have found this and the previous digi stamp.
I used a 5 x 7 inches card.
On white card I blended DI - Greens blues, yellow to create the background
The digi stamp was coloured with Promarkers.
I fussy cut the image and removed the landlocked white pieces.
I'm sure a young child will enjoy this card.
Thanks for stopping by.
