Dragonflies

Hello, today over at Cardz 4 Galz, Sian has chosen
for our challenge - Dragonflies.
The DT have again excelled with their wonderful designs,
it would be a shame not to pop over to see them.
For my card, I decided to try, for a change, to be rather
clean in my design.
I masked two sides of my card, leaving the centre to work on.
I started blending DI from the bottom to the top,
a few shades of lemon, yellow, green, grey, ending with
Hickory Smoke.
Both Dragonflies are stamps from a set bySheena Douglass,
stamped with Versafine black ink.
The sentiment is from Crafter's Companions.

Architecture

Hi, today we begin a new challenge over on Cardz 4 Guyz.
Sue from the Design Team has chosen for us to play with
Architecture
Please take a look at the blog the DT have again made some
fabulous cards to inspire you.
My card is actually a postcard, which I made for a postcard
swap. The stamp is from Michael Powell of the lighthouse
and buildings. I coloured it all with pencils to give
a softer look. The words on ethe edges were created
with my computer  ----
Oh! I do like to be beside the seaside.
I hoep you enjoy the challenge.

Die Cuts Only

Hi, I hope your safe and well wherever you may be.
Parts of the world are suffering so much with the disasterous
weather conditions.
Today at My Time To Craft Mags has chosen for us
Die Cuts Only
Please pop over to see the inspiration from the DT.
I was inspired by a similar card I saw on Pinterest.
I don't have fancy shaped dies, I am a stamper, but
I do have lots of shaped dies, for matting and adding layers.
Hence my very geometrical diesigned card.
I recently bought a set of nesting square dies, this is
the result of my playtime. Hope you like it.

coloured with Promarkers and DI Broken China.
Looking forward to seeing your card entries.

Autumn Colours

Hello, sending my love and best wishes to all my crafty
friends in Texas and Florida following the dreadful weather
conditions they have suffered over the last few weeks.
Today we begin a new challenge at Make My Monday.
Sue has chosen Autumn Colours - we in the UK are at the
beginning of our Autumn season, it is already colder and
it gets dark so early. The Autumn colours bring an extra warmth.
Please pop and see the designs from the DT, they again have
some wonderful inspiration for you to see.
I kept my card simple, several layers, of black and orange,
to accent the main stamped image, which is a stunning
wooden stamp I recently bought for £1 at a craft event.
When I started stamping it was mostly with wooden stamps,
I still love them and like to rescue some of the good old ones
when I get a chance.  The only information on the stamp is
it is American.
I have coloured the fruity Autumnal wreath with Promarkers.
Have fun using your beautiful colours for the Autumn.
