Emboss, Wet or Dry

Hello, thanks for your visit, I hope you are well. Today we begin a new challenge at My Time To Craft.  We would like to see Embossing either wet (heat) or dry.  For my card  have a 6" sq. scallop edge  card. Each level is matted onto black card stock. The white levels were embossed with Christmas Vines E.F. from Craft Concepts.  The embossed pieces of card were then rubbed over with Gold Metallic Wax Patina. The sentiment is by Sheena Douglass from Only Words - Through the Rain.  The butterflies are from Kraftyhands CD-Butterflies Botanical. Gems from stash.

Festive Things with Wings

Hello and welcome to my blog. Thanks for your visit. Today at Sparkles Christmas Challenges we begin a new challenge. For the month of September we have #116 Festive Things with Wings. Please check the blog to see the amazing creations from the Design Team and for any challenge details. For my DT card I used a small circular scallop edge card from Kanban. The Robin is from the Tall Tail set from Katy Sue Designs, now being sold by Dolly Dimples.  I used DI to colour the background and Promarkers for the robin. I decoupaged the robin's body and scarf for extra dimension.  The additional snow stamps are from the same set as the Tall Tails robin.  A Quickie glue pen and Glamour Dust glitter to create the icy snow.  I look forward to seeing your  Festive Things with Wings.

Use Kraft Paper or Card

Hello, welcome to my blog. Today we begin a new challenge at Alphabet Challenges.   Helen has chosen for the letter K - Use Kraft Paper and/or Card. We look forward to your designs.   Please pop into the blog for any details and to see the wonderful designs to inspire by the design team.

For my card, I made a 7" card. I used the stamps and the seahorse diecut which were with the magazine Simply Cards and Papercrafts, Issue 207. I only added a small amount of colour to highlight some of the images.  It was more time consuming than I originally thought it would be, measuring is not my favourite pastime in crafting, but it was essential with this card.  I hope you are safe and well.
