We would be thrilled for you to visit the blog for details and of course to see the amazing inspiration from the design team. My card is double layered on a white card, I have a Kraft layer with a cream watercolour the main event.  Several Distress inks pulled across a watery layer, allowed to bleed. When dry a small  plant stamped, a little colouring added. A circle sentiment. To complete the card is edged with Gathered Twigs and a piece of light brown ribbon added. Stay safe, take care.

V is for Vellum

Hello, how are you? Thanks for your visit. Today at Alphabet Challenges we are starting a new two weekly challenge.  Lynda has chosen V is for Vellum. There are so many ways to use Vellum. Please pop over to the blog for details and to see the inspiration from the design team.

For my card, a 5 x 7 white card.  I gently embossed a piece of vellum using the embossing folder,  a gift with the Simply Cards and Papercraft magazine # 213. I coloured on the reverse of the vellum with several Promarker pens. I fussy cut some tupips from the Making Cards Magazine May 2020, added them with 3D pads. I die cut a card circle, stamped the sentiment. I added 4 Brads through the vellum and backing yellow card, to secure the vellum.  Enjoy and if you haven't used vellum, have a go.

Penguins

Hello, thanks for your visit. Today at My Time To Craft Christmas, our second challenge, so we hope you have or will soon find our new challenge blog for Christmas,  for the next two weeks we are looking forward to seeing a collection of Penguins.  There are so many collective nouns for Penguins, I gave up looking, here are a few, a parade, a raft, a waddle, a huddle and on and on.
Please visit the new challenge for any details and to see the inspiration from the design team.
My A5 card has a mat of black card. The papers and image are from the Making Cards and Papercraft magazine Issue Jan/Feb 2019. The sentiment on a die cut circle is from my stash.  Have fun.

Inspired by the Beatles Music/Songs

Hello everyone, I hope all is well with you and yours. Today we begin a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz. Shell has chosen #139 Inspired by the Beatles Music and or Songs.  Please take a peak at the blog for any details you may need, there is a link up for a long list of Beatles songs to help you long the way, also, not to miss the inspiration from the DT. A few less this week so I have added a couple extra of my own which I had previously made but I think they fit the challenge so well.
My card is inspired by - Across the Universe 1970 - The papers are from Making Cards Magazine, May '20 from a Craft Paper Collection of Suminagashi - a Chinese paper style, believed to be the earliest form of marbling. The gold doesn't show very well but I have added dots, like Pointalism with a gold pen, which are very effective. I cut the papers into two shapes of rectangles, used black card to mat the papers. The main section is added to the white card with 3d foam. Sentiment Hello from a die-cut. Enjoy and stay well, keep crafting, stay as happy as is possible in the circumstances.
