Happy Litte Stampers Watercolour -Anything Goes

Hello, welcome to my blog. Today at Happy Little Stampers we begin a new monthly watercolour challenge - Anything Goes. We only as for you to create with watercolours. Please pop over to the blog for more details and to see the wonderful inspiration by the design team.

For my design team card, I made a small slimline card, checked I had an envelope to fit it first. Added a black mat. Using watercolour card I used a paintbrush and splashed diluted DI Seedless Preserves for the background. When dried, I stamped the floral design from Crafty Roo Designs direct onto the background. I then stamped the design again onto plain watercolour card, painted with the same diluted ink, fussy cut then decoupaged onto the first stamp image on the card. I drew the lines at the top and bottom, added gold glitter into the circles. Added some light purple gems to the page. The sentiment is by Lisa Horton. Enjoy

For my card, I heat embossed a stamp from Julie Hickey - Fresh Flower Border, coloured with Promarkers, with lots of sprinkled glitter, a few sequins and small gems scattered. The Thank You sentiment is an old stamp, many years old. Enjoy your crafting, stay safe and best wishes.

Motivational/Encouraging Sentiment

Hello, we have a new challenge starting today at Alphabet Challenges - Melanie has chosen for us
M is for Motivational/Encouraging Sentiment. For more details pop over to the blog where you will also find inspiration from the wonderful design team.
For my card, I was inspired by a stamp and sentiment the Creative Stamping magazine #93 Mindful Moments.  I blended Picked Raspberry DI over a white piece of card. The feather wreath stamped with Versafine ink. I used watercolour pencils to colour which was very relaxing. A few sequins added. The sentiment in the wreath says.....
Never give up on things that make you smile.
Take care and stay safe.

Christmas Critters

Hello, welcome to my blog, we have a new challenge starting for the next two weeks at MTTCC. -         My Time To Craft Christmas #19 Christmas Critters.  For more details and to see the wonderful inspiration from the design team, please pop over to the blog.

For my card, I was inspired by a card in the Creative Stamping #100 magazine. The stamps used on my card are included in a fantastic set of stamps from Crafter's Companion. For the 100th edition there are 4 sets of Christmas related stamps, each set will provide great cards to suit all tastes.  I have a red mat, a red and white spotted piece of paper, then a white card with blended DI's, glitter applied to the snowflakes and to the penguin's hat and sweater. The penguin was coloured with Promarkers.  Enjoy.

Embossing -Any Type

Hi, welcome to my blog. There is a new challenge over at My Time To Craft - Becca has chosen Embossing - either Heat or Dry. Please check out the blog, you will also see the inspiration created by the design team.

For my card, - I used a Core-dinations card and two embossing folders, one for the background and one for the grasses and bird, which was then cut out with a die. I then lightly sanded the card with a soft sander block which revealed the lighter core on the Core-dinations card.  I punched out a white lace trim for a border. Finally adding all the elements to a white scallop edge card. Stay safe.
