#297 On The Water

For my 6" white sq. card these are the materials and techniques I used. 

Background leaf card - The Works stash.  All stamps used with Creative Stamping magazine #86.

Memento black to stamp. Promarkers to colour image. Reflection of duck technique - stamped onto acetate then turned it over to stamp directly under the duck on the water.  DI FadedmJeans to edge the water part of the scene. Die cut of Birthday Wishes from my stash..

HLS Watercolour - Anything Goes

 

Hello, welcome to my blog, today we begin our June Challenge at Happy Little Stampers Watercolour Challenge - Anything Goes.. For more details please visit the blog and you will alos be able to see the inspiration  created by the design team. 

For a 6"sq. white card with a black mat. I used a white piece of watercolour card using the following materials and techniques. 

3 Distress Inks watercoloured - card added and smooched for background.

Added DI Scattered Straw around the edges.  Heat embossed with Gold EP the stamp - by Woodware Stamps - Long Tall Flowers - Painted flowers with ZIG Clean Colour pens - 

Stamped small script on the background. 

Stamped - heat embossed with Gold EP the sentiment - from Woodware Stamps.

Techniques

Stamping - Die Cutting - Heat Embossing - Alcohol Ink Colouring - Fussy Cutting.

Materials Used

Lilac card - White embossing powder, Stamps-peaches, pear, blossom, both sentiments and Dies for peaches and pear - from a magazine simply Cards and Papercraft # 229. Lilac pearls. 3d foam pads. DS tape.

I used a tall tent fold slimline white card. I used a black mat, an orange mat cut with a die. A black mat layer for the main die of a border and flower by Lisa Horton. - Slimline Lazy Daisy Die Set.  The sentiment Just For You is also a die. I hope you enjoy the challenge, I know die cuts are very popular, so maybe we will see many of you accepting the challenge.

I have a 6"sq. white card, I matted a black card. I watercolour splashed two Oxide Distress inks - Abandoned Coral and Spiced Marmalade. When the watercolour card was dry, I used a stencil to create a more interesting background. The sentiment 'Thanks' was stamped and die cut, adding the stamped 'for everything'. Die cut flowers and leaves added. Yellow pearls added to centre of the flowers. Stasy well and I hope you enjoy the challenge.

I made a white slimline tentfold card,matted onto black card. I blended two blue Distress inks for the sky.  I used a watercolour splash of blue and green, for the water below. I added Dovecraft sparkle glitter to parts of the water and around the otter. Parts are coloured with pencils. The wildlife scene was created  using  'By The Water' stamps with the Creative Stamping magazine #86.  I look forward to seeing your entries into the challenge. Have fun and please stay well. 

Floral Frenzy

 

Hello, welcome to my blog. Today we begin a new challenge at Sparkles Monthly Challenges.            #152 Floral Frenzy For more details and to be inspired by the design team, please visit the blog. 

For my card, it is a 5 x 7" card. a strip of Washi tape down the side. 'Bloom' die cut from Inidgo Blu. The Mason jar stamp, flowers and leaves are with a Simply Cards and Papercraft magazine, #230. I coloured with Promarkers, pencils and a white gel pen to add highlights, then fussy cut, adding to the card with 3d foam pads. I stamped and added extra leaves to expand the design, to create, hoepfully, a Floral Frenzy.  Enjoy your crafting and please stay well.
