Dragonfly Dreams - These are a few of my favourite things.

Hello and welcome to my blog, today we begin a new monthly challenge at Dragonfly Dreams.
Christine has chosen for August - A few of our favourite things.

I have SO many favourite things, but this card depicts a few of them, being
Art Deco, Purple, Silver, Glamour, Glitz - making pretty cards.

I used a 7" sq. white card with scallop edges.  The papers and main image are from Kanban. The purple paper and silver Mirri are from my stash. The silver Mirri was used for the die cuts, some of which are from Chloe designs.  Take care, stay safe and happy crafting.

Christmas Critters

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today at Sparkles Christmas we begin a new challenge. Melanie from the DT has chosen #163 Christmas Critters. To see the creations from the design team please visit the blog.

I began with a white scallop edge card. Lightly brushed with Broken China Distress ink.  I stamped the robin direct onto the card, I then stamped the robin again on spare card, and coloured with Promarkers. I fussy cut all but the legs and decoupaged onto the first image on the card. The greeting and snowflakes were then stamped. All stamps are from an old set by Katy Sue Designs. Stay safe, happy crafting.

Hello , welcome to my blog, today we begin a new challenge at Make My Monday. Pamela has chosen #231 Colouring Mediums - you can choose -  Alcohol markers, water colour markers, watercolour paints. Pencils, Inks. we look forward to seeing your choices and creations.

I'm trying to get ahead with Christmas cards. I began with a white card, and added a lilac mat . On a new piece of white card I stamped this adorable snow man/woman with a Sweet Dixie stamp. The sentiment is on the same stamp sheet. I coloured throughout with Promarkers - alcohol markers. I love them. I think she is a snow woman so used , lilacs, blues and purple, with, of course, lots of glitter. I hope you like her, the present and the bunnies. Take care and happy crafting.

H is for Holidays

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today we return to the Alphabet Challenge and this time round Helen has chosen for the letter H.  -H is for Holidays - Summer or Christmas in July. To see the wonderful inspiration by the design team, please visit the blog.

I used a white 6" card. A dark blue Mirri card for the mat. The background card is a silk card, embossed with a snowflake embossing folder,. I then gently added a few DI of blue shades to the card. The main image is with a stamp from Visible Image named appropriately - Christmas Junper. I added colour with Promarkers a light blue pencil for shading and glitter, lots of gliter. The snowman and sentiment are on the same stamp set.  An additional sentiment is a die cut using the same blue Mirri as I used for the large mat.

I hope you enjoy the challenge.
