On the Beach


Hello and welcome to my blog. today we begin a new challenge at Make My Monday. 

I have chosen #233 On the Beach. To see the inspiration from the design team, please visit the blog.  


I began with a 6" white card. I used blue and yellow card to mat the card. The stamp is from a stamp set 'At the Seaside' free with a magazine. Promarkers used to colour the chairs and umbrella. An Inkylicious template was used to create the sky with DI Tumbled Glass, along with a few yellow shades of DI to create the sand. The greeting stamps is in my stash. Enjoy your crafting.

Kittens or Cats


Hello and welcome to my blog. Today we begin a new challenge at Alphabet Challenges. Deborah has chosen for us, K is for Kittens or Cats. To see the inspiration from the design team, please visit the blog. 

I began with a white DL card, I added a gold Mirri mat. I then added a background paper and a topper from Hunkdory's Curious Cats Toppers. The sentiment adhered to pretty pink paper is from my stash. I hope you enjoy the challenge, I look forward to seeing your kittens or cat. Take care.

Pretty in Pink


 Hello and welcome to my blog. Today we begin a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz. Helen has chosen #232 Pretty in Pink. To see the inspirational cards from the design team, please visit the blog. 

I began with a 7 x 5" white card. I added a pink card for the mat. The stamp and the backing paper are both from a box set by Toni Darroch - Stamps By Me. I created a smaller panel to stamp the design, which I coloured with Promarkers. Small gem stones were added in groups of three randomley around the butterfly. The greeting is from my stash. Have fun, playing with pink mediums, papers, stamps and so on.

Sunrise/Sunset



Hello, welcome to my blog. Today we begin a new challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz. Deb H has chosen   #354 Sunrise or Sunset. To see the remainder of the design team's inspiration please visit the blog. 

I began with a Kraft card, a black card mat. 
My design began as a white card. I blended several tones of yellow and orange. 
The sun mask is from a Wodware circle punch. The stamps I used are from Stampscapes - Nature set #6. The Lakeside Cabin, including the rocks and grasses. The sentiment is from Hobby Art. 
have fun. I think this is a lovely challenge and I am looking forward to seeing your projects.

One or More Butterflies


 Hello and welcome to my blog.  Today we begin a new challenge at Sparkles Monthly Challenges. Claudia has chosen #179 Use One or More Butterflies. To see the inspiration created by the design team please visit the blog. 

I made a 7 x 5 in white card. I pulled an 8 x 8 sheet, from a Hunkydory Duo Design -Butterfly Royale, paper pad. From the sheet I cut a strip of butterlies which I then matted onto gold Mirri card.  I used two circle dies, a greeting stamp and one butterfly cut from the same page, all from my stash, to create the greeting circle. I look forward to seeing your entry ino our challenge.

Something Metallic





Hello and welcome to my blog. today at Make My Monday.  Dawn has chosen #232 Something Metallic, which can be card sock, hardware, papers etc. To see the inspiration created by the design team, please visit the blog. 
I have made two cards- showing my metals, gold, dull gold, glitter gold and copper. 

Card 1. I was inspired by a card on Pinterest to create a sunray of gold, using two gold cards, One Mirri one more dull, also using two varieties of gold glitter card, one champagne gold, the other a bright yellow gold. The dies x 2 are from my stash as is the greeting. 

Card 2. I used an embossing folder to create an embossed strip of gold Mirri card bordered with yellow gold glitter. The Moonstone - Hunkydory die of Shine Bright was created using copper glitter card. 
I look forward to seeing how you have used your metals when creating your cards.

J is for Juvenile


 

Hello, welcome to my blog Today we begin a new challenge for the letter J at Alphabet Challenges. We have chosen  J is for Juvenile - for a Young person or a child. To see the inspiration created by the design team, please visit the blog. 

This is my card for a 5year old boy. The papers are from a Papermania paper pad - Capsule Blueberry Pie. The 5th and all embellishments are stamps by the wonderful late Jayne Nesterenko. The large star was made from a template ina  magazine. I coloured all of the elements with Promarker alcohol pens.  I hope you enjoy the challenge, fwe all need to have some fun when card making.
