D is for Dogs

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today we begin a new challenge at Alphabet Challenges. It being my turn in the design team to choose the theme, I have chosen D is for Dogs.  To see the design team's inspiration please visiti the blog. If this is your first introduction to the Alphabet Challenges, please do visit us again, our challenges can be entertaining, fun and of course creative provided by a wonderful team.

For my card, I began with a 7" scallop edge white card. I added a pink card for the base. I then arranged a kennel, small picket fence and of course the wonderful six die cut dogs. These were a gift to me, a few years ago and this is a wonderful opportunity to use them. The sentiments are from a Hunkydory set of stamps - I hope you enjoy the challenge.

Floral Frenzy

Hi, welcome to my blog. Today we begin a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz. Helen, from the design teram, has chosen #251 Floral Frenzy, there just can't be enough flowers. To see the design team's inpiration and different styles please visit the blog.

For my card, I based it on a 7" sq. card. I randomley added Hunkydory Flower tiles of  'Beautiful Blooms' Topper Tiles on the card, then cut off all the pieces over the edge of the card. This gave me a background of a Frenzy of Flowers. The main topper is 6" x 4" topper from the same set, mounted onto a silver mirri card. I added a purple bow and a die cut sentiment. Stay well and safe.

#252 Gardening/Garden

Hello and welcome. Today we begin a new challenge at Make My Monday. It being my time to choose the new challenge I have chosen #252 Gardening or Garden. It is that time of year when we are able to attend to our gardens with beautiful results. To see the remainder of the inpiration from the team, please visit the blog.

I was inspired with an article in the Creative Stamping #119 magazine. I began with a white 6" sq. card.  used a black mat for the background. Using the Card Making Magic stamps enclosed in the magazine I stamped with Versamark random gardening tool images, added white deailed embossing powder, then heat embossed. I blended several Distress inks to cover the white 6" sq. I added colour to the Gardening poster. Each of the gardening implements were stamped on a seperate sheet, coloured with Promarkers, then fussy cut. These I added to the page either with a Pritt stick or narrow foam strips,

Engjoy your gardening and I hope you enjoy making your garden or gardening card.
