Oval with One Sentiment

 Hello and welcome to my blog. Today we begin a new two weekly challenge at Alphabet Challenges - I (Caz) have chosen O is for an Oval with only One sentiment. To see more of the design team's inpiration, please visit the blog. 

I began with a 5" white, scallop edge card. I added a blue mat, then I dry embossed a sheet of white card with a Snowflakes design embossing folder. A die cut Oval , where I stamped the snowman, which is from a stamp set along with the greeting stamp - Joy to the World by Chloe Designs. I used Promarkers to colour and added  white powder glitter to the fur on the hat. Fnally I added some blug gems. 

Colouring

For my card, I began with a 6" blue bought card. I dry embossed with Dreamees 3d Snowflake embossing folder., which was added to the blue card, for the background. On  a piece of white card, I stamped the Woodware stamp, 'Snowman Gift', with the sentiment from the same stamp set. I used various blues along with other colours of  Promarker alcohol pens. to complete the colouring. I stamped  from the set, snowflakes around the snowman. The sentiment was added onto the background. I finally added white powder glitter to the snowman and hat. Then a chunky glitter to the ground area. Crystasl gems added to the white snowflakes and peel off dots to the centres of the black snowflakes. Have fun colouring.

I began with a black folded card. I created the glitterry background, by adding double sided tape around the edge, then patting on loose silver glitter, brushed away the excess, leaving a lovely border. I cut the piece of white card to fit in the black space. I coloured the white card with purple ink, dried, I added various stamps from my stash of Halloween stamps.The Whitby Abbey stamp was by Crafty Individuals. The character of Count Dracular from Crafty Sentiments. Various areas coloured with Promarkers. Hooe you enjoy using your colours and having fun.  Take care of you and yours.

For my card, I began with a 6" kraft card with scallop edges. I added a black mat. The orange papers and greetings are all from a Graphics 45 Rare Oddities set of papers. I adore all of Graphic 45 designs. The Inchies stamps are from Inkadinkado - Halloween set. The spider, black card and black gems are from my stash. Have fun everyone.  I'm looking forward to seeing your creations. 

N is for Night

Hi, welcome to my blog. Today we begin a new letter in our Alphabet Challenges.  Pamela has chosen      N is for Night. There are so many possibilities for this challnge. To see the inspiratinal creations by our design team. please visit the blog. 

I began with a 7 x 5 inches white card, I added a silver Mirri as the mat, then covered it with a starry paper from my stash. On a piece of 6 x 4 card I  added several decoupaged layers of my chosen design from a Hunkydory Little Book of Window Scenes, I love this book, there are so many adorable window scenes, so many card possibilities. I then added it to the larger card in a landscape position. I added die cuts for the sentiment in contrasting colours. It wasn't until after I had photographed this pic, I thought of adding Glossy Accents to the windows, so I have a piece of waste from the design I am experimenting with to see how it looks. For a Little Girl.

I began with a white 6" card. I added a gold mat. The tartan paper and stamps are all from a Santoro set of Gorguss designs. I stamped and coloured with alcohol pens the stamps, they are Dear Apple, Forget -me-Not and The Lost Heart. I added a piece of ribbon with tied knots at each end. Have fun. 

Autumn Leaves or Pumpkins

 Hello and welcome. Today at Sparkles Monthly Challenges we begin our new challenge to last till the 14th of September. Maria has chosen #193 Autumn Leaves /Pumpkins.To see the remainder of the design team's inspiration please visit the blog. 

I began with a 6" white card. I cut off one inch from the right front of the card. I added gold mirri to the main card and the 1" on the inside part of the card. I added a soft peach paper to the front and autumn leaves on the smaller panel. For the design and decoration I used a sheet of Autum Die cuts from Kanban. I arranged the die cuts to form a collage of items associated with Autumn, thanksgiving and of course the pumpkins to suit the time of year. I used 3 d foam pads to lift some items over other items. I added two sentiments from the same sheet and finally a few gold coloured gems to add a little sparkle. Have fun.
