Challenge #152 Happy Birthday- We are 3

Hi everyone, welcome to my blog. today is the start of a weekly 

challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz. I can't believe how fast the years

pass us by. The challenge is simply 

Happy Birthday

to celebrate it is 3 years since  I created the challenge 

blog, I was so excited and nervous then, but I am also now a 

very happy blogger for we are still up and running and 

fingers crossed still seem to appeal to many. 

Making cards for guyz isn't that hard you know.

Please check out the blog to see the super cards from the

amazingly talented Design Team, who rock, they are 

a part of the success we have had over the past years. 

The players are so important in our success story, so I hope you will

continue to support us. 

For my card. I made a 5" sq. scallop edge card.

The dark grey card used for matting the papers and image are 

from a gorgeous 12 x 12 DCWV Textured Neutrals card stack.

The paper is from Papermania Mr. Mister papercraft kit.

The stamp is Owls by Little Claire, coloured with Promarkers.

I decoupaged the middle owl. 

I have added a #3 numeral to the card, to celebrate our birthday. 

Sorry this is so long but it is a special day for me.

Today at Alphabet Challenges we are returning from our 

seasonal break with a colour or it could even be a theme challenge, 

chosen by Amy -  V is for Violet .

I have decorated my card using papers from a CD.

Additional features are the violet card for matting and background,

also the violet gems on 4 corners.

ATCs

Hi everyone, welcome to my blog, I appreciate your visit.

Today starts a new two weekly challenge over at Cardz 4 Galz.

Aly in the Netherlands has chosen for us - ATC'S

(ARTIST TRADING CARDS)

The Design Team have once again excelled and produced some

amazing and wonderfully inspirational artwork, please pop over

to check out their little wonders. 

I have chosen 3 non related ATC's which I have recently made

for a Facebook  9 piece swap, these being my own. 

I have used varied TH Distress inks. varied stamps, also on the third card

I even used gold embossing powder for the fireworks display. 

I have adored ATCs for many years and love to have challenges,

whether they be of themes, colour or techniques. They are so useful

to try new techniques and stamps. I do hope if you haven't had a go

give it a try and share your little pieces of art with us.

Hello everyone, welcome to my blog and a happy new year to you.

Today is the start of a new weekly challenge at Cardz  Guyz.

I matted my design onto a piece of card, matted onto a white

scallop edge card. 

The stamp is Kite Flying by Papermania-Do Crafts.

I coloured the image with Promarkers. 

Lots of Glitter

First let me say a HAPPY NEW YEAR to all my visitors.

Today being the 1st of the month sees the first of our monthly 

Christmas challenges for 2017 at Sparkles Christmas Challenges. 

I know Christmas has just passed but just think, playing along each month

 could be to your advantage and if like me, it's fun time.

We are starting the year with the choice from one of our DT -

LOTS OF GLITTER

A wonderful time to play with the glitter before you put them away.

To create the border, I added double sided tape around the 

stamped sheet and patted on red glitter.

The stamps I used were free with a magazine a few years ago.

I added  gold glitter to the baubles.

The red and gold bauble was added with 3d foam (dimensionals)

The strands are peel offs.

What fun I had. I don't normally use a lot of glitter, thanks Pat G.
