O is for Old Folk

Hello and dwelcome to my blog, lots of visitors noted lately but they all seem to be rather shy, nevertheless I am so happy you take the time to pop into my blog. Today we begin a new challenge at our very popular challenge blog - Alphabet Challenges. Heads up to let you know that on November 6th we will be celebrating 10 years of the challenge blog, we would love to see lots of visitors.  For our challenge this week we have O is for Old Folk.  Please pop over to see the inspiration by the DT.

For my card, I don't have any suitable stamps etc for this challenge so I  used a decoupage print out from a Craft CD - La Pashe -Flippen Families - to make a Happy Anniversary card. I matted it onto pale blue and Kraft card. I love this scene from a certain movie and if things had been different maybe Demi and Patrick could have later filmed this scene. Have fun, stay safe and well, happy crafting.

N is for Navy Blue as Dominant Colour

Hello, I hope all is well with you. Thanks for your visit.  Today we begin a new challenge at Alphabet Challenges - Debbie has chosen for the letter N- Navy Blue to be the dominant colour.  Plerase visit the blog for details and to see the wonderful inspiration from the design team.

I created my card by making a 5 x 7 white base card. Cut a piece of Navy Blue glimmer card. Stamped with Versamark, heat embossed the image with white detailed embossing powder. The wooden stamp is an oldie, called A Christmas Carol by Papaermania.  I changed the greeting from the actual stamp to one of my own.  You will need to click on the image to see the crystal gems at the head of each ornament.  I hope you will enjoy the challenge and take part.  Take care and stay safe.
