Triangles


Hello and welccome to my blog. Today we begin a new two weekly challenge at Cardz 4 Galz. Dawn S has chosen #176 Triangles. For more details and to see the DT inspiration please visit the blog.
 
For my 5 x 7 in. card I covered the front of the card with a pretty blue card. Using papers from a paper pad - Forever Free- First Edition - I  cut triangle shapes to fan around the card. A die cut circle and a background die with a stamped sentiment from my stash.  I believe this is called a Sunburst Technique. Hasppy crafting. I hope you enjoy the challenge of cutting up triangles.

Summer Theme


Hello and welcome, today we begin a new challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz. Pamela has chosen

For my DT card, I have a made a split version by cutting off the top 3" of a 5 x 7 in. card. A navy and light blue mat. On both the 7" piece and the lower 4" a white piece of card added. The stamps and sentiment are in included in the Creative Stamping #110 magazine. Blue Sky DI water washed on the upper and lower white card. Remainder coloured with watercolour pencils. The bird placed so it is clear of the upper section.  Thanks for looking. Take care.

Colouring at MMM

I love colouring, I have started to colour in a few of the  Adult Colouring Books and am having a great time, it is so relaxing, full of well-being, as they now say. This challenge was a pleasure to do. Which of my many stamps should I use?  This is the first time I have used this beautiful stamp, called Floral Dreams Lady by Daisy B Stamps. I used Promarkers to colour her. Decoupaged the flower with the pearl. Lightly blended Worn Lipstick around the edges. A die cut greeting added. The image card added to a black mat on a white card.

F is for Friendship


 Hello and welcome. Today we begin a new challenge at Alphabet Challenges.  Deborah, our newest member, has chosen F is for Friendship.  More details and the DT inspiration are on the challenge blog, please take the time to pop over to check it out.

For my Friendship card, I used a 7 x 5" white card. Matted with a black card. Papers used are from Simply Cards and Papercraft #228, along with the perfume and flowers bottle stamp. I used Promarkers to lightly colour the perfume and then the flowers. The greeting ..hello friend.. is from the same set. Pink gem stones added to the pink flowers on the band. For my 6" white sq. card. I matted with a cream glitter card which was the card used throughout. The background paper is from my magazine papers stash. The circle from a nested die set. The buterflies amongst my dies collection. The die greeting of Birthday and stamped wishes by Lisa Horton Crafts. Thanks again, take care and stay safe.

#153 Things with Wings

A 7 x 5" white card, I cut a 5 x 5 " piece of white card. Using 4 Distress Ink colours I created a striped area, spritzed with water and dipped in the card, I dried it several times, dipping into the wet area several times. When completely dry, I cut 4 strips of different widths. Stamped stars with Rusty Hinge and the  ivy design with Mowed Lawn over the green areas. The biutterflies were stamped, fussy cut and coloured with pencils and Promarkers, as was the floral arrangement. All added with 3d foam. Greeting stamped. All the stamps are from a Stamp set - Enchanted Woodland from Creative Stamping #83 magazine.

Father's Day June 19th.

For my card, I used some designer paper for the background. A strip of dark blue card across the join. The main image is from a "Craft UK" Golf stamp set matted and layered on papers used. Coloured with Ptomarkers. and a Silver gel pen for the metal parts. Sentiment from my stash.  Enjoy.

HLS Stencil Challenge - Anything Goes


Hello, welcome to my blog. Today we begin a new monthly challenge at Happy Little Stampers - Stencil Challenge. More information is available on the challenge blog. 


For my tall slimline card, I first stencilled the part brick wall, with a stencil from Chocolate Baroque, using 3 Distress Inks.  I then stamped the main image- Tatty Daisies by Woodware Stamps. Some areas which lay over the brick wall needed to be decoupaged (flat). The flower and leaves were coloured with Promarker pens. Sentiment is with the same stamp set as above.  Stay well. 

 

Summertime


Hello, thanks for your visit. Our new challenge for Make My Monday begins today.  Sue has chosen for #176 Summer Fun. Think about all the nice things you enjoy doing in the Summer time.  for more details please visit the blog, the DT have some super inspiration for you to admire. 

My first card was put together with a mixture of stamps from two magazine sets. By the Seaside and Summer Escapes set, both with Creative Stamping. I used Distress inks for the background colours. a white gel pen on the waves. The remainder were coloured with Promarkers. 


For my second card, as a few of our DT are on holidays themselves, this fills in a slot. This is from last year, so it's only as suggestion,. I used Hobby Art stamps - Coastal Create-It set. The card has a curved aperture front, with some art work at the front. I used Aquamarkers to watercolour the design. I hope you have fun creating your own Summer fun card.

E is for Embossing wet or Dry

 


Hello and welcome to my blog. Our latest letter to be added to Alphabet Challenges is stating today -       E is for Embossing Wet or Dry.  For more details and to see the inspiration by the wonderful design team, please visit the blog. 

For my DT card, I first used a stencil, using blue and violet distress inks, using a soft hair applicator from Lisa Horton. The stamped the heat embossed image and journey sentimen both by Inkylicious, I stamped with Black Versafine and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. The rain and shine stamp is from my stash. I hope you enjoy the challenge, I know heat embossing is a popular technique, I wonder which one will be in ther lead when the challenge ends.?

For my card, again a white 6" card. A black mat. The two papers I used are from a 6" paper pad by Papermania  Capsule Collection- Midnight Blush . The stamped flower is a very old one, a freebie with the magazine Crafter Stamper. A 2" embossed white square with a black mat. The sentiment is a stamp by Woodware Stamps. thanks for your visit. For my card, a 5" sq white card. I stamped with Owlgate by Little Claire Designs ( no longer around). Coloured with Promarkers and glitter added for snow  sections. Tumbled Glass for the sky. Mounted along with the sentiment onto black card and a red and green tartan.
