Use A Stencil

Hello everyone, thanks for your visit. I hope you are well and staying safe from this dreadful virus.  Today we are starting our next challenge at Sparkles Monthly Challenges.  Tammy has chosen  for us #134 Use A Stencil. Please visit the blog for details and to see the inspirational creations by the design team.  I had great fun with this challenge, and yes I was challenged for I don't often use a stencil, I have loads, as you can imagine, but I rarely use them, so I say thanks to Tammy for the challenge. Amongst the box of stencils I have, I found this adorable small circle one, which if I remember was a free gift in a magazine but it was a long time ago, and I hadn't even taken it out of the sealed packet.  I secured a square of white card to my work area, and with 2 in 1 glue I secured the stencil to the centre of the white card. I used DI Chipped Sapphire to colour the stencil.  I had to be so gentle with the little prongs, more a stipple than a brush technique. I then die cut the stencil and placed it on a die cut circle of glittered silver card. Set onto a white sq card, on a square of the glittered silver card. A few crystal gems and a die cut sentiment added. I hope you like it, and you will be inspired to go and use a stencil.

Good Luck

Hello, thanks for your visit, I hope all is well and you are enjoying your crafting. Today there is a new challenge at My Time To Craft, Meena has chosen - Good Luck. Please take a look at the blog for details and to see the inpiration from the design team.

For my card, I wanted to do something different, then I remembered about a die set I had, which being honest, it must have been in a bargain box for me to have bought it, thinking one day I  will need a beetroot die!! As you do. Then on my personal inspiration site, I saw a card with a carrot and the sentiment, 'We're rooting for you'.  Which reminded me of the beetroot, all I had to do was cut the pieces out and make a card.  Job done.  Stay safe.

Coloured with Promarkers, added Glossy Accents on the acorns and some of the toadstool spots.  I carefully ran a Black Promarker around the edge to complete the die cut circle.  Hello from a die cut. Have fun and stay safe.

Silver and/or Gold

Hello everyone, I hope you are well, today we begin a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz.    Dawn has chosen #134 Silver and /or Gold.   Please pop over to the blog for details and to see the inspiration by the design team.

My card will be familiar to my regular visitors, for this is the third time, in a short time, that I have used the same stamp. All, however in different colours.  There was the white stamp on a Navy background, followed by the gold stamp on a cream and gold card,   and now for the third, Silver on black card with silver mirri card. The stamp is by Papermania. I used Wow! Silver Bells embossing powder to heat emboss on the black card.  I have added crystal gems to each ornament with a few random additions. Sorry that the mirri is causing such dark shadows in the photo. Have fun, I hope you enjoy the challenge. Stay safe.
