B - is for Buttons and Bows

Alphabet Challenges our challenge for the next two weeks was chosen by Shaz, she would like to see lots of Buttons and Bows for our letter B. I wonder why it isn't until you have up - loaded your picture onto your blog do you spot the buttons aren't straight. Well if you own't mind I'll forget it too. I used a pretty green DP from my stash for the background, a piece of pink lace, three pre-made ribbons with pearls. The saucy corset and stamp are from a Creative Expressions stamp set - Vintage Lingerie. I used Promarkers to colour the corset. Die is from Go Kreate , lightly coloured with Worn Lipstick DI. I look forward to seeing your Buttons and Bows, hoping you have lots of fun. Please pop over to the main blog for I am sure the array of Buttons and Bows will inspire you to have a go.

Cardz 4 Guyz Challenge #7 is MUSIC

This week at Cardz 4 Guyz - Janice has chosen Music, it can be whatever your inspiration creates, anything which depicts Music. Please remember this challenge site is for cards/projects for MALES of any age, but Male only. In my huge supply of stamps, I have discovered I don't have anything suitable for music, but in my Craft CD collection I was saved. I made the card above with papers and decoupage from a Debbie Moore Shabby Chic Music CD. I hope you like it and find some inspiration from it. Please pop over to the main blog where you will find more inspiration from the wonderful DT.
I am also entering the card into
Crazy 4 Challenges - Inspired by Music

Quotations

For this week Carol at CD Sunday Challenges is challenging us to produce a project with a quotation, bearing in mind all projects for this challenge MUST contain something from a CD. For my card it is almost all made  from a Debbie Moore/Leonie Pugol CD - Shabby Chic Songbird. There are some wonderful images on this CD and of course being Debbie Moore there is always a nice supply of quotations. The shape of  the card is also from a template on the - Katy Sue Fabulous Fashion CD. have fun everyone, I'll be popping around this week to see which quotations have inspired you.

Let's Feel It

This my first ever entry in the challenges at Cuttlebug Mania, but somehow, knowing how I love my Bug, it won't be my last. The challenge for this and next week is Let's Feel It, the emphasis being on dimension/texture.  Why don't you pop over and see, they have a long list of suggestions. I have created the main dimension with an embossing folder, this is the list of my ingredients: ~

Cuttlebug embossing plate of Bird in the Field (texture)
Distress Inks - Broken China, Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, Wild Honey and Vintage Photo
Garden Twine (texture)
3 decorative shapes - had these for ages (texture)
Happy Birthday greeting - Go Kreate - Stamp and Die #100101 - Set 1 (dimension)
raised on a dimensional sticker pad.
I decoupaged the bird and drew the birds in the top left corner.
Thanks ladies for a very interesting challenge, I really enjoyed this challenge.
I am also entering this card into the Crafty Cardmaker's challenge of 'Come Fly With Me.'

Bingo Board

It's been a while since I enjoyed a game of Bingo, but this is my kind of Bingo. When I first came across Craft bingo Boards I found them difficult now I find it so helpful, for it gives me 3 items I must include in my card, which leads me in a good direction, the rest as they say is left to your imagination. If you've never played craft Bingo or Lotto (?US) then pop over to the main blog at Fantasy Stampers to find the explanation, the rules and of course the wonderful samples from the Design Team.
I chose to make my card using the Top Line ~ Pink ~ Pearls ~ Lace.

My Time To Craft

Sadly there comes a time in everyone's life when we need to provide a Sympathy card ~
we at My Time To Craft realise this form of card is probably one of the most difficult cards to create. I suppose my approach may be classed as being old fashioned. However,  I have a theory about Sympathy and Thinking of You cards. When making other cards, I suppose my aim is to convey, 'Look what I've done for you'. When making a Sympathy or Thinking of You card, my aim is to convey my message of condolences in a simple and understated way.  For this card I used~~~~~~~
White, grey and black card stock.
A template for a small rectangle.
DI Pumice Stone
Tree Stamp and Birds from Inkylicious
With Sympathy stamp from my stash ~ unknown make.
We know it's not easy but why not have a go, when you don't really need one and put it away.

Always and Forever

Here at Alphabet Challenge we are starting from the beginning once more. For the letter A - Tammy has chosen Always and Forever.  I'm sure it is no coincidence that today is Valentine's Day. Hope you have all had a showering of love, flowers and chocolates. Ha! Ha! Do I hear you say, don't worry, I didn't either.
I decided to go for soft spring colours rather than the traditional reds and blacks, which didn't seem to be right for my young couple who are almost holding hands.
Plain white cardtsock
Background Papers from First Edition Daydream Pad
Stamp from Lily of the Valley
Flowers and leaves from stash
Card Candi and a metal heart charm from stash.
I look forward to visiting you over the next two weeks, have fun and best wishes for a happy
Valentine's Day.

Superheroes

This week at My Time To Craft we are challenging you to show us your Superheroes. I'm sure we all have memories of all those wonderful exciting and thrilling Super heroes, whether they be in real life, cartoons or adventurous tales old and new. For me, being the mother of an ex-serviceman, all service men and women are Super heroes. This amusing card  was made using La Pashe CD The Best of 2012, which has a section for many of our heroes, including firemen and policemen. Have fun with your challenge this week, I'm sure we'll be looking in on some amazing and wonderful heroes.
