Snow People

At CD Sunday Challenge, Beryl has this week chosen for us - Snow People.  I so love the name and topic, a great way to get another Christmas card made for me, taking it nice and gentle at present, trying to prevent the last mad rush as normal. Once again, sorry to be repetitive, but I can't resist the adorable images on Best of La Pashe 2012. For my background I used some of my stock from last year's LOTV blue Christmas pad. White card and silver mirri, along with some white Card Candy, and the decoupaged image from the CD. The sentiment is a Happy Christmas stamp from Dreamees. An easy card but isn't it just so cute?

Y - Yummy - Food

Good morning everyone, nice to be back again at Alphabet Challenges, only a few more letters and we'll be kicking off for another round of the alphabet. For the next two weeks we will be looking for your projects which fit Sheena's choice for the letter Y - Yummy, so we want to see Food. For a change I have made a card from a CD - La Pashe best of 2012, I bought it at a craft event on Sunday, for I especially like the section with Pickles and Podge such adorable Teddies. My only addition to this card is the main card and the red backgrounds, but it was quick, easy and I think real cute. I look forward to popping onto your blogs to say Hi and comment on your Yummy cards. Have fun.

Father's Day

Continuing the month's theme, at Make My Monday, chosen by Jacqueline,  June's Celebrations/Events, we are challenging you this week, to make a Father's Day card/project, which in the UK is  June 17th. I have made a lot of male cards lately and really wanted to do something different, how more different could I get, by doing CUTE. Yes, my followers, I apologise now, it is cute. You see, I don't dislike cute, I just thought it's not me, but we all have to jump out of our boxes or comfort areas sometimes and this is a huge leap for me. I was in need of a new stamp fix and this is the one that caught my eye. I do hope you like it, and forgive me for adventuring into the cute craft world, which I found to be fun. The stamp Fizzy Moon, is called All About Him. The background papers are from a set from my stash, plus a piece embossed with Swiss dots, I coloured the image with Promarkers. The book is blank, which is good, the creator can write any title they wish to make it more personal. I am once again, looking forward to viewing your blogs to see your creations.

Guest Designer at Quirky Crafts

I was fortunate to have been chosen as winning the second prize on a new challenge blog for their #2 challenge for Silhouettes, over at Quirky Crafts  I was delighted when they asked me to be a Guest Designer for this week's challenge. My prize was a digi stamp, to fit for the new challenge. ~~~~~~
Love Story with Ribbons and a Dangling Charm.  ~~~~~A cute digi stamp. As thrilled as I was, anyone who knows me and my blog will know I rarely do cute, and have never used a digi stamp. However, there are times when we should push ourselves and jump out of our comfort zones and this was one of them. I would like to thank everyone at Quirky Crafts for their faith and support, for I actually had a great time creating this card. The digi stamps were easier to use than I thought, though I coloured them with Promarkers, and maybe the ink wasn't dry enough from the printing. I have added the ribbon and there is a heart charm dangling from the ribbon. Please pop over and have a look there are some lovely cards to see.
