#182 Snowman, any gender, single or family.

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today we begin a new challenge at Sparkles Christmas Challenges. Caz (that's me), has chosen a favourite seasonal card, #182 Snowman, either single or family. To see the remainder of the design team, and their collection of snowmen/woman/family, please visit the blog.

I love blue, white and silver for my Christmas cards, I began with silver Mirri card for a mat. The background paper is a Pure Frozen paper pad from Poundland. A die cut Oval and greeting dies. Crystal gems. The stamp is from Woodware, now under the company of Creative Expressions. The snowmen, were coloured with grey and several shades of blue Promakers. Finally glitter and Fluffy Stuff was added to the pom-poms.

Pearly Sparkles - Mixed colour flowers

Hello, welcome to my blog. Today at Pearly Sparkles we begin a new challenge, chosen by Alyson, on the design team. The challenge is #117 Mixed Colour Florals

I began with a 5 x 7 in. white base card. I used the Resist technique, which has always been a favourite of mine. I used a selection of single head flower stamps from my stash, along with three Distress Inks, Picked Rasberry, Fossilized Amber and Abandoned Coral. The greeting stamp is by Alternew, which I heat embossed using gold embossing powder. A few crystal gems have been added to the centre of a few flowers. Have fun with creating your card.
