Z is for Zoology


Hello, today we begin a new challenge at Alphabet Challenges, Another collection from A - Z is coming to an end with Z is for Zoology chosen by Deborah. Any animal will do. To see the design team's inspiration, please visit the blog.

I began with a 5 7" white card. I added a black mat, then a green layer The main image is a free download from Pinterest. I blended several light green colours of DI's before  I used Promarkers to colour the remaining images.. Then added it to a black mat. Finally I addded a sentiment Happy Birthday.

April Showers


 Hello, we are starting  new challenge today at Cardz 4 Galz. Sue J has chosen #274 April Showers.  To see the design team's inspiration, please visit the blog. We are currently looking for  few card makers to join our DT. All details can be found on the blog. 

For my card, I began with a 6" sq. card. My appropriate stamp is small, so I created a background for the stamped image to sit upon. I used papers from a FSC paper pad - Whiz Kids. All of the mats are gold Mirri card. The stamp is an unknown make, I bought it in a charity shop.I used Promarkers to colour the image.

Pastels and Rabbits


Hi, thanks for popping by. Today we begin a new challenge at Sparkles Monthly Challenges. Maria  has chosen #199 Pastel Colours and Rabbits. To see the design team's inspiration, please visit the blog. We also have a Design Team Call at present. all the details are on the blog. 

I began with a 7 x 5 inches white card. I cut a number of pastel coloured strips of paper from various Hunkydory Duo colour paper pads. These were then added diagonally ont the card, making a pastel coloured background. The rabbit topper and additional circle elements are from aa Hunkydory topper sheet. I also added a Happy Birthday sticker sentiment, a bow and several yellow enemal dots. I hope you enjoy the challenge.

Monotone


Hello and welcome. Today we begin a new challenge at Make My Monday (MMM) - Dawn has chosen #275 Monotone. To see the creations by the design team, please visit the blog.

I began with a 7 x 5 inches white card. The mat is of a very dark royal blue. The pale background, denim, and the circles were all from a Hunkydory A5 Essential Denim paper pad. I used dies to create the circles, a few raised on foam pads. A strip of the mat card lies down the left side with three dark blue gems. The 'Birthday' die is from old stash and the Hugs die is a 'newish' die from Humkydory. I hope you like my Monotone card. I look forward to seeing the entries in the challenge blog.

Cas -Clean and Simple


Hello, welcome to my blog. Today at Dragonfly Dreams, Franseca from the design team has chosen for our challenge  CAS -Clean and Simple To see the inspiration from the design team, please visit the blog. 

I bean with a 6" white card, I blended Tumbled Glass DI to form a background for the image. I stamped, then fussy cut the image which is -Call Me Maybe? by Visable Image. I coloured the phone using a Zig watercolour pen Slate Grey. Take care everyone.

Yellow Flowers


 Hello, thanks for your visit, today at Alphabet Challenges, it is my time to choose the next challenge. So I have chosen Y is for Yellow Flowers. Please visit the blog to see the design team's inspirational designs.

I began with a 6" white square card. I added a 5" gold mat, then a piece of Hunkydory Essential Script paper pad, for the background. The main focal point is a three flower die and a single stem of bud sall from my stash. These were all coloured with watercolour brush pens. I randomley added gold gems and finally a die cut sentiment - Happy Birthday -from an old faithful die. I hope you enjoy the challenge and like yellow flowers as much as I do.

Spring Flowers


Hello, thanks for popping into my blog. Today we begin a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz. The challenge for the next two weeks is my choice, this time round, #273 Spring Flowers. To see the inspirational creations from the design team, please visit the site. 

For my card, a white 6" sq card. A dusky pink mat. A n embossed piece of white card. A mesh piece of card- die dcut. The addition of the spring flowers - Snowdrop stickers, glittered adhered to the white page. A stunning sticker butterfly added. I found the perfect green sentiment in my stash and finally I added three flashy gems, along with three small yellow butterflies. A blast from the past from my stash, I am determined to get some useful stash used up. Enjoy yourselves with the challenge.
