I began folding a 7 x 5 inches white scallop edged card. Using a scrap from my desk, which I thought could represent brickwork, I cut it to size, then matted it onto a piece of black card, Using one of the three flower stamps from a Pauline Wheeler designs -Flowers set, I stamped with Memento black ink, then used Promarker alcohol pens to colour. I love to fussy cut, so I did enjoy cutting it out. The sentiment is from a Crafter's Companion stamp set in my stash. Have fun crafting.

Stitching Real or Faux

Hello, and thanks for your visit. Today we begin a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz. Billie A has chosen #258 Stitching Real or Faux. To see the remainder of the design team's inspiration, please visit the blog.

I began with a white 6" sq. card, I then added green woollen paper for the mat. All of the papers used are from a Hunkydory paper pad - Suits, Cardigans and Shirts, which is brilliant when making male cards.  I downloaded a free template of a sweater, then created the red jumper, adding the collar, waistband and cuffs with green woollen paper. I stamped and added a gnome from my old Christmas stash. I added faux stitching around the sweater and the gnome. This was added to tartan paper onto a gold Mirri card. Finally adding the embellishments of green gem stones and the gold die cut Christmas greeting. Have fun.
