Traditional Christmas Colours


Hi, everyone, welcome to my blog.
For our challenge for the next week at Cardz 4 Guyz
we would like to see a project with
Traditional Christmas Colours
Please check out the DT, they have again made some wonderful
inspirational cards. 
For My Card
I have made a 5" square card.
Added a strip of check Washi tape down the left side,
added to this a stamped sprig of holly with berries.
The snowmen are part of a Woodware stamp 
 - Snow Buddies.
Coloured in traditional red and green colours with Promarkers.

White Christmas


Hi everyone, hope your well and comfortable.
For the next week at  Make My Monday the challenge is
White Christmas
The Design Team have some wonderful ideas, so please 
do pop over to see their projects. 
For my Card
Firstly I apologise for the poor photograph, sadly
 there are not many light hours here in the north of England. 
Those we do have are also very dull. 
I used a white scallop edge card.
My stamp is by Stamps Away - Pilkington's Winter Wonderland
a set of 3 adorable winter scenic stamps. 
Die cut and edged with DI Broken China
Lightly coloured with Promarkers.
Quickie Glue Pen to add lots of glitter on the snow. 
Raised on 3 d foam pads - dimensionals.

CAS - Christmas


Hi everyone, I hope your all staying safe, warm and in good health.
For the challenge for the next two weeks at Fantasy Stampers
we would like to see
CAS - Christmas
The Design Team have created some wonderful inspiration,
pleasebe sure to pop and see them.
For My Work
A purchased white scallop edge card.
Lightly brushed with Broken China Distress Ink.
Stamped the robin direct to the card the image.
Stamped the robin again onto card - coloured with Promarkers,
Decoupaged  all except the legs onto the main card.
Stamped the greeting and snowflakes.
All stamps from same set by Katy Sue Designs.
Mouse and Robin.

Christmas Animals


Hi, as I am preparing this post, Storm Desmond is in full action.
I am hoping all of our roof slates manage to survive the wind.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you who are having bad

Vintage Christmas


Hi, yes, another Christmas card on my blog. For the next week at
Cardz 4 Galz the challenge chosen by Jan is
Vintage Christmas
The Design Team have made some gorgeous cards, please
do pop onto the blog to see them.
For my DT card, I was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest.
Kraft Scallop edge card
Matted layer of red card.
White card, stamped with script from an old See D set, 
using Frayed Burlap Distress Ink.
I used Vintage Photo around the edges to give a distressed finish.
Red Ribbon from my stash.
The pine trees stamp is part of a Scenescape set.
Stamped with Vintage Photo and Fire Brick. 
The sentiment stamp is from my stash. 
Santa stamp is one of my all time favourites from ?Inkadinkado.
The stamp is bigger but I used a square punch for the topper.

CAS - Christmas


Hi, well here we are the first of December,  so much to do, so much to look forward to.
At Cardz 4 Guyz, for our challenge for the next week Jan has chosen

CAS For Christmas

Please do take a look at the Design Team's inspiration
to hopefully inspire you to create a CAS card.
For my card, 
A white scallop edge card, 
Stamped with black ink the image using
Reindeer from Katy Sue Designs - Tall Tails set
Stamped again on copy paper to make a mask.
Placed the mask over the reindeer, then brushed the
Disress Ink Broken China over to create a subtle background
Removed mask, coloured reindeer with pencils. 
Added Glossy Accents on the nose. 
Added snowballs from my stash - along with a greeting. 
Sprinkled the ground with glitter for the snow.
