the Design Team were each sent a CD from Funky hand, mine is Happy, Happy Birthday, every CD has the built in function for making Word books, I was tempted to make one but thought I would stretch myself for I have never created work in a Work Station via a CD before. My final result isn't a masterpiece by any means but for a first attempt I am happy with it.
After printing out the card, I used my Sakura Quickie glue pen and added glitter to the bubbles. I decoupaged two glasses, added a stamped image to the wine bottle. I drew over the banners and writing with the same glue pen, then when it was dry, I covered the areas with gold foil, rubbing very gently before removing. if you use it please remember you must put it gold shiny side upwards facing you - how do I know that? Please do pop over to the main blog for our Guest Designer for the month Kevin has created a wonderful word book and the remainder of the team have created so many variations from their CDs from Funky hand. I am also entering this card into the monthly challenge Blog at FunkyHands for Anything Goes
Beautiful card Caz, i know it's not in your comfort zone and you should be very pleased with your work. I love the added glitter and gold foil, really set it all off.

This is a great card. Love the stripy bp and will definitely have a go at the foiling of the sentiment banners. Such a fab idea and very effective.

I've had a look around your blog Caz and I can see that I really put you out of your comfort zone with the Happy Happy Birthday CD ROM as my stuff tends to be a bit quirky and bright coloured but I think you made a fab job of your card. If you play around with the CD and use the backing papers to stamp on and layer I think you will be surprised what you will be able to use them for much more in your style. I think your card is fab and the foiling of the sentiments is something I have never even thought of. Thank you for giving one of my CDs a go for your CD Sunday challenge and thank you for entering it into our Get Funky Challenge this month.
