All About The Boy

Hello again, thanks for popping by to see my DT card for
the next two week's challenge at Fantasy Stampers which is
All About The Boy

For my card I have used a 7" square scallop edge card.
All the papers used are from a LOTV paper pad
'Father Knows Best.' Every panel has been matted onto black card.
The birthday greeting is from (was) Elusive Images.
The 'Sneakers' are from Woodware Stamps.
I paper pieced the Sneakers.
Coloured the laces with Promarkers.
Stars punched with a Fiskas punch.
Have fun everyone.

Tag it! at MTTC

For the next two weeks at My Time To Craft (MTTC) we are
setting a challenge to see a tag.
TAG IT!
It would be appreciated if you went to the blog to check out
the details and see the work by the Design Team.
For my Tag,
I cut the shape from card, covered the tag with previously prepared
coloured paper, from one of my 'getting messy sessions.'
( sheet of copy paper covered with Moon Glow Starburst water colours,
scrunched up, then left to dry)
Stamped with a big rubber stamp from The Stampman.
A piece of vellum with Happy Birthday - 2 chrome brads.
Added flowers, fibres, twine, a Chinese coin and a heart charm.
I greatly enjoyed messing about with this tag, I hope you like it.

Challenge # 13 Something New

Hello, to my visitors, thanks for popping by.
Today being Thursday is time for the challenge at
It being a new year, some new beginnings, our challenge is for us to see
Something New
Pop over to the blog for more information and to see the inspiration from the DT.
The challenge will be for two weeks, starting today we are changing from a weekly to a
two weekly blog, plenty of time for you to get creating.
I watched a wonderful video on Facebook on how to carry out the above technique,
I realise I am not as perfect as the demonstrator was (thank you) but boy did I have fun.
It was great to get messy again, I haven't had a messy ink day for a while.
I used from Peerless Designs a Dahlia Mask to create the white embossed flower.
I then used my NEW  Brusho powders to create this NEW (for me) technique.
The greeting stamp is from Sheena Douglass, as below.
Here is another result from my play day.
The mask is from Imagination Crafts.
