Typography - Words or a Name

It seems in the paper crafting world Typography - the use of words or names on cards/projects is currently very popular. Julie on the DT of Cardz 4 Guyz has chosen this very subject for the challenge this week. Papermania recently brought out some wonderful stamps which fit in well with this topic. I know that Woodware has also brought out some great large word stamps too, a must on my list of wants, not needs, just wants, I don't kid myself any more. I decided to make my card for one of the younger Guyz today.
Plain white  and black card stock
Sheet of designer paper from a pack (sorry from stash, long since lost the front sheet)
Doubloons stamped from Tandastamps pirate set.
Happy Birthday Greeting from Papermania
Agh! Captain Pirate stamp  from Creative Semtiments.
Coloured withe Promarkers.
Please do pop over to the challenge blog to see the amazing inspiration from the design team, you may even decide to enter our challenge.

  1. Great card Caz, I love the idea of paper piecing large word stamps, but hadn't thought of incorporating them with other elements. Great choice on the DT. :)

  2. Great card, Caz! As for "wants" and "needs"...I apply those terms very loosely myself.
