Wild Animals

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today at Make My Monday Claudia from the design team, is challenging us with # 238 Wild Animals. To see the creations by the team, please visit the blog.

I began with a 6 x 4 white card. I matted it with gold Mirri card. I cut one sheet of the gorilla and baby in 3 pieces, cutting thin strips from each piece. I then added them to the Mirri as the 3 pieces. From another sheet of the gorillas, I cut a piece to be decoupaged in the ccentre onto a piece of Mirri card. The pages are from Into the Wild Little Book by Hunkdory.  Have fun with you Wild Animal. Take care.

Dragonfly Dreams - Winter Birthday

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today we begin a new monthly challenge at Dragonfly Dreams Christine has chosen Winter Birthday. To see the inspiration from the design team, please visit the blog.

I made an easel card using a 5" white scallop edge card for the base. The main topper of Poinsettias is from a Hunkydory Little Book of Winter Florals. I have decoupaged the upper and lower flowers, adding some gold gems in the centre. The topper is on a gold mat and then a green card for dimension and stability. I added a few sequins and gold gems randomly to the card. The stopper for the easel, is a birthday sentiment by Hunkydory, matted onto green card and raised with 3d foam pads. Have fun and happy crafting.
