lockdown situation, staying safe and well.
Today we begin a new challenge at Sparkles Monthly Challenges

Please check out the blog for details and to see the
inspiration by the Design Team.
I blended 3 Distress Inks, splashed with water,
then dried the card. Tulips stamp was by Dimension Fourth.
I painted the tulips with mica paints and
splashed several times with green paint.
I love the big bold sentiment by My Paper World.
My best wishes, please stay safe. Happy Crafting,.

Nail Polish Technique

Hello, thanks for visiting my blog, it is appreciated.
Today we have an exciting challenge beginning on
Have you tried the Shaving Foam technique? Well this is
the same but it gives amazing strong results.
Please don't miss visiting the blog, for details, links and of
course the fabulous inspiration from the DT.
My thanks to them all
I have had a fabulous time playing with this technique.
I paid a few pounds for the Nail polishes but it will not
be wasted.  I will be buying more colours, for my next session.
Thank goodness for Poundland. Look at
my results with watercolour card and photocopy paper.

For my card I used a strip of the watercolour card and
die cut a circle from a piece of photocopy paper
Matted onto black card, the sentiment is by
My Paper World.
I do hope you will give this technique a try.  It is
stepping away from comfort zones, it did me, but
I thoroughally enjoyed doing something different.

Hello everyone, I hope you are well. Thanks for your visit.
Today we begin a new challenge at Back to Basics and Beyond

tutorial on You Tube, so no excuses for not having a go.

also for the few rules and details.

You can see where the salt has soaked up the colour, and
has left behind the pattern.
I made a 5x7 card. I used TH Distress Inks
Abandoned Coral, Twisted Citron and Fossilized Amber
Blended onto the card, followed the instructions as
mentioned above.
Stamps used - Sentiment - My Paper World.
Butterflies - The Works
Poppy seed heads - Crafter's Companion - Fairy Magic.
Pencils used to highlight areas on the poppy heads.

My Fat Pages Book - Fashionable Stamping

For our challenge at Fashionable Stamping Challenge for the next two weeks we would like to see ANYTHING BUT A CARD- but remember there must be some stamping on view,  DIGIS are a NO NO!
I greatly enjoyed visiting the blogs the last two weeks to see some amazing and beautiful Vintage creations.
I created the back and front of my book ready in preparation for when I start receiving the monthly Fat Pages of the swap I am hosting on the Do Crafts ATC forum. If your interested I am also (seperately) hosting a swap on my blog. For my book, I decided to use something strong to be able to hold 12 months pages. I have had some grungeboard for ages and not used it, time to use it I decided. I first embossed it with  a snakeskin pattern embossing folder in my Cuttlebug. Then I sprayed it with Cosmic Shimmer Mist Aqua Lagoon and Sprinkys Colour Spray - Amethyst. I then stamped a grasses spray from a new set of stamps from My Paper World, the butterfly was stamped seperately, then adhered to the book. I used a cameo  button, lace, ribbon and flowers to decorate, along with, of course a bit of glitter here and there, along with a few pearls. The label holder is attached with brads, the label was typed. The inside and back are as the background on the front, for it will be holding 12 decorated pages from 12 folk, exciting stuff.
I again look forward to visiting your blogs, I know there will be some exciting creations to see. have fun.
