Time To Retire

Hi again, this week at Cardz 4 Guyz the teme chosen is 'Time To Retire'.  It could be  either retiring to bed or retiring from employment, wherever your imagination and creative ideas take you. I just love this stamp from Fizzy Moon - called All About Him, I coloured it with Promarkers. The background papers are from LOTV - Father Knows Best Designer papers, all matted onto Kraft card. Card candi to embellish. The Happy Thoughts greeting was a free stamp with a magazine. Please do pop along to see the wonderful creations from my fellow Design Team buddies, lots of wonderful inspiration. We are also introducing  two  fabulous Guest Designers for October.

Love and Cherish

For the next two weeks at Fantasy Stampers, we are beginning to feel that romance is in the air, could it be Valentine's Day will shortly be with us?  We challenge you to join us with Love and Cherish.  For my card
I have used a piece of pretty background paper from my stash, a piece of silver mirri card onto which I have matted a die cut stamped image. Added some white paper flowers and a wedding greeting.

am both nervous and excited. I have been around in blogland for a few years, part of many wonderful Design Teams and felt it was time to give it a go myself. I would like to thank the Design Team for all of their help, in particular my good crafting buddie of many years, Jaybe aka Jan, without whose help this would all still be a dream. So what more can I say other than I hope you will pop over to CARDZ 4 GUYZ  for our first
challenge which is 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY'.
The challenge blog as you will find is for guyz of all ages, for my first card for the blog, I chose a favourite stamp of mine for guys for it in itself suits all ages, from the age of being able to read or hide behind  a book.

A Cute Wedding

Yes, to my followers, I've gone cute again!! I'm really liking these cute bear stamps from Fizzy Moon - this one is called Wedding Bells. I made the card for the challenge Weddings at My Time To Craft I will also be adding to a few more challenges. I dry embossed the background, coloured the stamped image with Promarkers. I added the ribbon and flowers with diamonds in the centre to embellish. The flowers are made from a wonderful little stamp I recently purchased from http://www.dreamees.org.uk it is so easy to make the flowers. I think you'll be seeing a lot of them in various colours on my future cards.
