Easter Blessings to All

I would like to enter this card into the Easter challenge at Crafty Cardmaker's. However I would also like to wish all of my followers and  visitors, who celebrate this special time of the year, a very Happy Easter. I decided to keep my card very simple. The stamp is from Personal Impressions, I stamped it twice with Memento Rich Cocoa, coloured it in with Promarkers. From the second stamping I cut out the flowers, then laid them on top of the first stamped image. Went around the edges with a blue Promarker, matted onto white card then adhered with silicone glue to a piece of blue glitter card. The sentiment was produced from my computer.
I am also entering this card into

A Windy Rainy Day

It's great when you have just bought a stamp and found a challenge that suits. Over at the Cheerful Stamp Pad
they are asking for a project with  a theme of , 'A Windy Rainy Day', not sure about the windy day but here is a Rainy Day. I used Kanban card, white card stock, TH Distress Ink Frayed Burlap, Debbie Moore Stamp from a set, another recent bargain purchase. Tan and Burnt Orange Promarkers. Why don't you have a go? We are all about Spring and flowers at present, but don't forget we need the rain to make it all look so fresh and beautiful. See you over on the Cheeful Stamp Pad. Thanks  to everyone who visits and for your comments. At least 3 entries today so please check my above entries too.

Birds of a Feather

I've been having a look around on Feline Playful again and have found another interesting Challenge Blog, called The Cheeful Stamp Pad,  Their challenge this week is "Birds of a Feather". Having just bought a Papermania Urban set of stamps, the stamps not even yet put away. I set to and made this card. The background was first blended with Bundled Sage and Peeled Paint. Sprayed with Cosmic Shimmer, Meadow Lush and Peacock Green. I stamped the leaves randomley with Bundled Sage and Forest Moss, used clear E.P. Secured the mesh and garden twine. Stamped and secured the images.
Sentiment is from Creative Expressions - Birds Plate.
Selection of TH Distress Inks as mentioned above.

Petals Wax Resist

If any of my class are looking in they will have a sneak preview of one of the cards they could choose to make at our next class. I stamped a variety of stamps from two sources, La Blanche and a Poetic Petals set from Hero Arts. I first stamped each flower randomly on an A5 card. I used a white oil pastel, although a wax crayon or even a candle will work, to add highlighted areas, which will also provide a resist when the coloured inks are add. I used several distress inks, to colour the flowers and the background, always adding in a circular motion. I layered the card onto pink,  grey and finally a white base. I am entering this card into
The Cheeful Stamp Pad whose theme this month is Petals. Thanks for looking at my blog and for leaving any comments, which are always a joy to read.
