A is for Anything but a card.


Today at Alphabet Challenges we once again begin the journey through 
the alphabet, starting with  the letter A - Silvi has chosen for us 
A - Anything but a card

I have created a scrapbook page, I am so trying to catch up with wonderful 
photos of my friends and family. Say hello to Lynne and Allison.
A peach background adorned with scraps of designer paper,
torn and scraped around the edges. The photo was matted onto peach card. 
Flowers were fussy cut from a scrapbook page with flowers.

Buttons and/or Bows


Hello again, thanks for your visit. Today we begin a new
challenge at Cardz 4 Galz. Debbie has chosen for us
Buttons and/or Bows

I made a 7" square card, which seems to be the latest fad 
in papercrafting. I quite like it, not too small and not too big.
The backing paper is from The Works - paper pad Whimsical Pastels.
The stamp is by Crafter's Companion from the Fou - Fou range.
Coloured with Promarkers, Distress ink and pencils. 
The bows are printed from a Crafter's companion Inspiration CD - 
Angelcia and Friends Colection.

Super Heroes

Easter Fun


Hi , today we begin a new challenge at Make My Monday.

I made a 5" sq. stepper card. The papers  and yellow
 matting card are from my stash.  The super cute stacked chickens 
are a free digi - I found on Pinterest.  Chicks coloured with
Promarkers. Gingham card candi to decorate.

We have so much snow at present, I apologise for the dull
photo of my card, we are experiencing really bad
weather at present. This weekend spell has been the
mini Beast from the East. Hopefully, soon to pass.

Things with Tails


Hi everyone, thanks for your visit. Today we begin a new challenge
Jane has chosen for the challenge Things with Tails.
We are so looking forward to seeing what our players produce.

I made a 6" sq. card,  added a red mat.
On white card stamped the image with a wooden stamp by
Do Crafts - Kite Flying - the kite and the little dog have tails. 
For the background, I used Broken China watercolour and
Peeled Paint watercolour .
The remainder was coloured with Promarkers.

Easter or Spring

Hello again, thanks for your visit, comments are always welcome.
Today we begin a new challenge at My Time To Craft (MTTC)
Easter or Spring.

I used papers for the bakground and layers from a paper pad
Garden Party by Papermania.
The stamp with the three pots of flowers was a bargain
wooden stamp from a craft event called Casa de Flores, no maker's
name is on the block. I coloured with Promarkers and a few pencils.
Wishing all Mothers a happy Mother's day on Sunday March 11th.

As usual our challenge is Anything Goes #24.

My card for this challenge stars a gorgeous stamp
from LOTV - called Penguin Presents.  Coloured with Promarkers. 
The additional round stamp, small greetings labels stamps and the 
background Frosty Christmas Papers  are also  from LOTV. 
The white popcorn ribbon is from my stash.

Add Gold or Silver


Hello again, today we begin our new challenge at 
Make My Monday. Silvi has chosen for us 
To Add Gold or Silver
Please check ou the blog to see how the DT interpretated
the challenge. It would be a shame to miss them.
For my card, I have based it on a white card to mount
a piece of gold mirri card.
A piece of black card, embossed in an embossing folder
from Creative Expressions. Then gently rubbed with 
Gold Metallic Wax Patina.
A greeting stamped onto a piece of torn vellum,
then embossed with gold embossing powder. 
Have fun playing with your Gold or Silver.

I am so looking forward to spring, the beginning of March
brings so much promise, of freshness, greenery and daffodils.
(Let's not discuss that we in the UK have snow, snow and snow.)

The background paper is from a paper pad of Blue papers from The Works.
Ribbon, lace and gems are from my stash.
The card is for a friend in an internet papercraft swap.

Furry Friends

Hello, If you 're in the UK, I hope you stay warm, well and
if possible indoors. The snow conditions are really bad.
Thankfully my OH and I have plenty of provisions, because 
we are blocked in at present, can't get the car out onto the main road.
The Beast from the East is the worse weather we have had for many years.
A good reason to stay indoors and join in the new challenge
which starts today at Cardz 4 Galz.
Tammy has chosen Furry Friends.

For my card, I have chosen to have teddy bears as my
Furry Friends. The decoupage bears are from a
Crafter's Companion CD - Meadow Cottage Bears.
I added purple card, backing paper from a paper pad
from The Works .  Ribbon, lace and pearls to decorate.

Twinkle, twinkle, stars


Hello, thanks for popping by. Today at 
Sparkles Monthly Chirstmas  blog our challenge
is Twinkle, twinkle, stars,  a lovely choice made by Joan.
Please pop to the blog to check out the DT work, there are some
amazing and beautiful inspirational cards for Christmas.
I have used a round scallop edge card. Using round dies  I 
created a silver mirri and blue sky with snow layers.
The main image and sentiment are adorable stamps from
coloured with Promarkers and DI Broken China.
