Sea Shells


Hello, thanks for your visit. Today we begin a new challenge
at Cardz 4 Galz - #126 Sea Shells
Please check out the wonderful creations by the 
design team and for the few rules we have over on the blog.
For my card I have a pale blue mat for my shells page.
I stamped the shell stamps with Versamark, then heat
embossed with white detail powder. When cold, I 
blended DI - Weathered Wood, Milled Lavender and 
Scattered Straw using the resist technique. 
I added a strip of blue card to sit the greetings band. 
The stamps are by Sheena Douglass - Underwater Angels.

Wedding


Hello, thanks for your visit. Today at Cardz 4 Galz,
our new challenge is #125 Wedding.
More details and DT inspiration can be seen on the blog.
For my card, a 7" square card - during the middle of the
 lockdown, I was asked to make a special card for a couple
celebrating their Diamond wedding. 
I used white card and silver mirri card. 
A die by Joanna Sheen for the lower border.
A white organza ribbon thread through a diamante clasp.
Round dies and crystal gems, plus metal corners.

Steampunk

More Than One Fold



Hello, thanks for your visit. Today we begin a new challenge at

enjoyed this challenge, lots to different types of folded
projects/cards.
For my card, I CASE'd the example given in a magazine
which also had the free set of stamps I used. 
Creative Stamping Magazine #3 - Stamps are Go Wild-
Manufacturer is Crafty Individuals Stamps. 
This is called a Bridge card - it is kept in position by,
in this case, a piece of acetate.

CASE Your Wardrobe

Hello, I hope you are well, thanks for your visit.
Today we begin a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz.
Dawn has chosen # 122 CASE Your Wardrobe

For my card, until this challenge, I didn't realise how
my wardrobe is mainly red, black and white with a lot of
shoes and handbags. 
The stamps used are by Woodware Stamps - Haute Coutre
The background card and papers are from my stash.
 A few items were decoupaged to give dimension.

Birthday


Hello again, today we begin a new challenge at
Cardz 4 Galz.  Sue has chosen for the theme

I made a 6" sq. card and used stamps by Julie Hickey
- Fresh Flower Border.
A yellow card to mat a white sheet of card.
The flower borders are adhered flat to the card.
Coloured with Promarkers.
The sentiment is raised on 3d foam.
Gems and pearls added to embellish.

Black and Pink

Hello, thanks for your visit. I hope you are safe and well.
Today we begin a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz. 
Leslie has chosen #120 Black and Pink.

I made a 6" sq black card, matted a piece of pink card, then 
again black card.  The stamped butterfly, onto pink card, is by 
Sheena Douglass- A Little Bit Sketchy - Flying Colours.
Decorated with Diamond Frost glitter on the wing tips. and 
black gems on it's antennae and thorax. 
Pink gems for the trail.

Use A Kite


Hello, sending good wishes and hoping you are all safe
staying indoors, unless going out is essential. I'm fine,
though missing my family, just as we all are.  Thank goodness
for visual calls on the telephone, the kids keep asking to see us, 
they too need reasurance all is well. 
Today we are happy to introduce a new challenge at
Cardz 4 Galz. Misti chose the theme for
#119 Use A Kite in your Design.

Cute Animals


Hello again, this being such a difficult time, I am finding
my crafting and blogging to be such a benefit. Being able to 
share my crafting with my friends all over the world, is a 
way for us being able to get through this dreadful time together.

My card is a small round scallop card.
A die cut circle of pretty paper and a strip
 of paper from my stash.  
Die cut Kraft circle and a heart edge round die cut,
stamped with the cutest elephants stamp from
Little Claire Designs (No longer available).
Coloured with prromarkers, pencil and Distress Ink.
Stamped leaves and flower from my stash. 
Such a small card and such a long post. Please
everyone do take care, and please stay well.
Stay indoors and use up your stash and Craft away.

Shoes


Hello, I hope you are safe, well and warm. Thanks for your visit.
Today we begin a new two weekly challenge at
Cardz 4 Galz - Challenge#116 Shoes
Now, what gal doesn't like shoes?

For my card, the mat is mirri card, the backing paper is
 by a Kanban Crafts 'In My Garden' 6" sq. paper pad.
The stamped shoe is by Cherry Green Designs - New Shoes,
a stamp I found in a sale box at a craft show.
I used Promarker pens to colour the shoe, and crystal gems.
The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards Fashionista stamp sheet.

Black and Bling

Hello, nice to have your visit. A new challenge today
at Cardz 4 Galz - we have for Challenge #115
Black and Bling.

I love working with black card and of course, any excuse to use
a bit of bling. Mat is a piece of non shed glitter card.
The stamped image and sentiment are Cosmos Flowers by
Woodware Stamps. They were heat embossed with fine gold E.P
 I coloured them with green and gold glitter pens.
Drew in the grass to create a ground. Added a gold
butterfly - die cut some spare glitter card.
I sprinkled some Frantage which was heated from below.
Have fun and hallpy crafting.

Use Kraft Paper or Card

Cardz 4 Guyz new challenge starting today, for two weeks is
Challenge #114 Use Kraft - Paper or Card
Details on the blog. Inspirational cards a must see by
the wonderfully talented design team. 
This is my card. Black contrasted with Kraft card.
Two layers were embossed with the large spots E.F.
Dies used to create the aperture and the black frame.
The flowrs stamp from Aspects of Design - Funky Flowers.
Coloured with Promarkers and Sakura gel and glitter pens.

I made a C6 card- Background papers for the panels 
are from a paper pad  from The Range-Pure Frozen.
The small panel is a stamped, heat embossed 
with white detail EP. The stamp from Stamps Away-
Wayside Grasses. Resist technique - panel coloured
with Chipped Sapphire DI. Greetings stamp,
butterfly stamp and pearls from stash.

Haberdashery


Hello, sending you best wishes for a happy new year ahead.
Today, at Cardz 4 Galz we have our first challenge for the new year, 
Challenge #112 Haberdashery
Please pop over for any details and to see the inspiration created
by the design team.
It's ages since I made a tag. Always handy when you're not needing a card,
but want to try out some colouring or stamps. Of course you
 can always add the tag to a card at a later date.
I started by blending Stormy Sky, Peeled Paint and Mustard Seed.
 Edged around with Iced Spruce, splashed water onto the tag, dried with
paper tissue, then the heat gun.
Stamped the Dress form with Antique Dress Form by Creative Expressions.
Added background details with stamps by  Crafty Inspirations Set  #CI 328.
Finally adding the piece of lace, ribbon and button.

Something Beginning with 'S'


Hello everyone, I am so pleased to tell you I am feeling
so much better, the last three days have been poorly days.
The worst is now over and I can again enjoy and partake in 
crafting and of course blogging.
Today, we begin a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz. 
I have chosen the theme - #108 Something Beginning with 'S'

For my card, I have made a Square card, not unusual for
 me, but I also have made a Square frame.
The background is a beautiful Scene, coloured with
Promarkers, with lots of glitter added. The stamp is by
Sheena, as is the Stag which has been added with
dimensional stickers.  The stamp set is - Scenic Winter. 
The Snowflakes are from a Dreamees stamp set.

Shades of Brown


Good morning, I hope you are warm and well.

Today at Cardz 4 Galz we start a new challenge, chosen by Lynda.
Challenge # 107 Shades of Brown.

I started with a Kraft card, then I added 5 layers
decreasing in sizes and varied colours of brown.
The main image stamped with Owl Family by
Woodware stamps.  Coloured with Promarkers.
I blended the background with Frayed Burlap DI.
I hope you like my card, I loved the theme, it was 
something different, more challenging but great fun.

Pretty Bows


Good morning, thanks for your visit. Today we begin
a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz #106 Pretty Bows.

I cut the card to fit inside a pack of envelopes 
I was given, which measures 7.5" x 3.5".
The stamp Christmas Bells is by Woodware stamps.
Coloured with Promarkers, sprinkled with glitter.
Matted onto 2 layers of pink and one of cream glitter card. 
Pink gems added on the image at the top and foot 
of the card. Hope you enjoy.

Back to today, we have a new challenge on Cardz 4 Galz. -
Challenge # 105 Welcome Autumn/Fall.

For my card I used both Black and Orange to mat the
white sheet with the stamped image of the 
Autumn Wreath by a USA company, code K 1883,
I was so lucky to find this in a sale bin. I love the 
intricate details, when colouring it in with Promarkers.
I hope you like my interpretation to Welcome Autumn.

Use Vellum

I made an A6 card covered with red paper,
a piece of white card behind the sheet of vellum.
Stamped onto the vellum a poppy by The Stamp Barn.
Coloured on the reverse with gel pens. 
Added a sentiment.
