Wheels (2)

Hello, thanks for your visit. Today I am entering two cards into the new
challenge of Wheels at CD Sunday Challenges.
This being my second card from the  CD
The Best of La Pashe 2012.
I have added some stamped cog like wheels with a stamp I bought
at Hobbycraft some time ago, I keep it with my steampunk stamps, not sure
of the make etc. I added varied black gems to the centre of the wheels.
The main image is decoupaged  in several areas.

At the Seaside

Oh! I do like to be beside the seaside. Memories of my childhood, my children's and grandchildren's childhoods, There is nothing like being 'At the Seaside' - so many happy summer memories, which  is why I chose this for this week's theme at CD. Sunday Challenges. I do hope you will pop over to see the stunning projects from the Design Team. Our main rule is you must use at least something from a CD and name which CD you used. Easy as that. For my card, I made it into an easel card for added interest. The image and most of the papers are from 'La Pashe - Best of 2012', sorry, I know again, but it is a powerful source for images.
I added some Frantage and a small starfish from my stash. I hope you can see the decoupaged layers of the  camper van and the surfers. Have fun, everyone, sorry I won't be seeing you again for two weeks, with us going to a fortnightly blog, but I will be visiting everyone of you who enter . Enjoy your seaside memories.

Make Us Laugh @ Cardz 4 Guyz

I promise no silly April Fool's Day jokes, don't really know any, but we at Cardz 4 Guyz are challenging you to 'Make Us Laugh', to celebrate this day. This is my choice, so I am hoping to see lots of fun projects, but please ladies and gents, please keep them in good taste, so everyone can enjoy them. The DT have done a splendid job so please pop over to see the challenge and their creations.  My card is from a CD ~ La Pashe, The Best of 2012. I think these 'wrinklies' are having such a lot of fun, wish I had their energy and fitness. They certainly brought a smile to my face.
I am adding to Cuttlebug Mania - Make me smile challenge - I did use my 'bug to cut the greeting using a Go Kreate die- cut, hope this is acceptable.
White card  and Navy stock
Background Paper from Debbie Moore Shabby Chic ~ Music CD
Main image from CD La Pashe 'The Best of 2111'
Greeting label stamp - words from stash
'Awesome' stamp from stash.
Have fun everyone, I hope to see your fun cards all of next week, looking forward to it.
Thanks for visiting and for any lovely comments you may leave.

Superheroes

This week at My Time To Craft we are challenging you to show us your Superheroes. I'm sure we all have memories of all those wonderful exciting and thrilling Super heroes, whether they be in real life, cartoons or adventurous tales old and new. For me, being the mother of an ex-serviceman, all service men and women are Super heroes. This amusing card  was made using La Pashe CD The Best of 2012, which has a section for many of our heroes, including firemen and policemen. Have fun with your challenge this week, I'm sure we'll be looking in on some amazing and wonderful heroes.

Cute and Cuddly Christmas (Animals)

Time already for My Time To Craft the challenge this week is Cute and Cuddly Christmas with Animals.
I know a Teddy bear isn't exactly politically correct, it not being an animal but who is going to slap my wrists for this faux par? I simply couldn't resist the cuteness of the image along with the papers from La Pashe The Best of 2012 CD. I added some embossed mirri card and red jewels to embellish. The lower sentiment is from LOTV. Have fun with the challenge, looking forward to visiting your blogs.

Snow People

At CD Sunday Challenge, Beryl has this week chosen for us - Snow People.  I so love the name and topic, a great way to get another Christmas card made for me, taking it nice and gentle at present, trying to prevent the last mad rush as normal. Once again, sorry to be repetitive, but I can't resist the adorable images on Best of La Pashe 2012. For my background I used some of my stock from last year's LOTV blue Christmas pad. White card and silver mirri, along with some white Card Candy, and the decoupaged image from the CD. The sentiment is a Happy Christmas stamp from Dreamees. An easy card but isn't it just so cute?

Little Boys at CD Sunday Challenges

It's my turn again at CD Sunday Challenges to choose the theme, well it isn't really but things got mixed up, can't even remember why. LOL. I had no problem choosing the topic after I had seen this image on the La Pashe best of 2012 CD, it had to be Little Boys. I have five grandsons, two sons,  two nephews and three grand-nephews, we are a heavily loaded male family. I actually enjoy making male cards. The background is a piece of black card, I used a white pencil.  Taking the theme from the main image I asked my OH for some mathematical equations, I don't understand any of them, but thought they made an unusual and interesting card. The image and greeting are from the CD. Have fun everyone, please pop over to our challenge blog to see how the Design Team have again provided with some wonderful projects. Remember you MUST include something from a CD and mention which CD  you used to be considered for a winning position.

Y - Yummy - Food

Good morning everyone, nice to be back again at Alphabet Challenges, only a few more letters and we'll be kicking off for another round of the alphabet. For the next two weeks we will be looking for your projects which fit Sheena's choice for the letter Y - Yummy, so we want to see Food. For a change I have made a card from a CD - La Pashe best of 2012, I bought it at a craft event on Sunday, for I especially like the section with Pickles and Podge such adorable Teddies. My only addition to this card is the main card and the red backgrounds, but it was quick, easy and I think real cute. I look forward to popping onto your blogs to say Hi and comment on your Yummy cards. Have fun.
