Deco Drama at CD Sunday

Hello everyone, nice to be back at CD Sunday Challenges.  Sending warm Easter good wishes to everyone, hope you all have a splendid time, whether your with family or on your own, know my thoughts are with you. This week is a favourite of mine, anything to do with Art Deco and I'm happy, this week our challenge is Deco Drama My card this week is a square white card. I used papers from Art Deco Glamour DVD from Debbie Moore. Aren't the lace papers just wonderful, looks so like real lace. I matted the printed circle onto first black card then gold mirri, adding a little dimension. I added pearls, gold and silver glitter and lots of diamante stones, very decadent but then that is what Art Deco is, isn't it? I love the striking black flowers, with little black gems which stand proud from the flower shape. I am so looking forward to visiting you all this next week, to see your wonderful Art Deco, so it's time to raid your stash and get out as much bling as you can find, enjoy your Easter then have fun creating your DECO DRAMA.

Tantalizing Turquoise

If you joined us last week at CD Sunday Challenges you would have read how we are still a weekly challenge blog but the team has been divided so we can each share a week on and a week off, last week were Team A and I am here along with Team B. I would first like to wish everyone of you a very happy new Year and mostly for those who have suffered through illness or caring for those in need, my thoughts go with you, hoping this year will be less stressful and show signs of either settlement or improvement.
So, for the first of Team B's challenge we thank Wendy for choosing Tantalizing Turquoise - a very nice and I believe a popular colour.  I do like shaped cards and some do suit it more than others, with Art Deco I thought this card really suited being shaped around the design. I downloaded the main image, which is the complete front of the card, cut it out and stuck to a heavier black card,  then I drew around it on another piece of the black card. Cut that out, matched the two up and marked across the second curved shape, scored this. Then I glued only the upper part of the shape, for the card to open and stand.
Recipe for the card
White card - Black card stock
Debbie Moore Art Deco - Glamour DVD
Glossy Accents Crystal Glitter
Turquoise Gemstones
The Design Team have some wonderful inspiration, so please do pop over to see the blog and hopefully, I'll be visiting and commenting on your Tantalizing Turquoise card which for our challenges must have something or everything from a craft CD.

Fat Page with Gems

This week at Fat-Tastic Tuesday we are setting you the challenge of creating a 4 x 4 inches project for Anything Goes with Gems.  I chose an art Deco lady from Debbie Moore stamps, combining art Deco corner stamps, a little Zentangle around the circle and of course some glitter and red gems. I look forward to see how you add your gems to your designs over the next week. I have made a Fat Page for my Book, but you can make any 4 inch square project you wish. An important requirement is to please have fun.
