Something Beginning with H

Hi everyone, having some free time I popped in to see some old friends 

at CD Sunday Challenges

I still miss the days when I was on the Design Team, hope you are 

all well ladies. 

I greatly enjoyed this challenge, I immediately knew I would do H for Hat.

All papers are from Jem's Designs - Hat Box Collection CD

I decoupaged the flowers and bow on the hat, the purse has also got

and additional layer. Wherever I could I added some gold glitter.

I also added a few gold Card Candi to decorate. 

Matted onto gold mirri card, onto a white 8" square scalloped card.

Scentimental - at CD Sunday Challenges

We at CD Sunday Challenges are starting a new month with a wonderful sponsor CD from Jem's Designs - Scentimental - I have chosen to use the Lundborg's Perfume. There are a number to choose from. Please do pop over to the main blog to see the wonderful scented cards from the Design Team. I made an easel card, cutting the main card to fit the pretty shape of the printed image. All papers are from the CD. Additional elements are the pearls, the butterfly, roses, leaves and greeting. I found this a wonderful CD to work with and am greatly looking forward to making more cards. Have fun everyone, I again look forward to visiting your blogs to view your creations. 

Hats - Thanks to Jem's Designs

We, at CD Sunday Challenges,  have all had a week of indulgence with the use of the wonderful CD from Jem's Designs Ltd. with the fabulous CD Hat Box Confections. I first made the above card then decided I needed to try another shape, and use up more the embellishments I had printed, which is why I am showing two cards this week. I had to stop myself for I could have made more and probably will soon. 

The only additions I have made arewhite and black card, a few black flowers, red ribbon, spot of glitter and a few jewels (Top)  for the white and black card,  Glitter and jewels. Have fun with your Hats this week everyone, looking forward to visiting you again. 

S is for ..............Steampunk

This week at CD Sunday Challenges Beryl has chosen S is for.................whatever you want it to be, the design team have such a varied selection, still leaving many choices for the letter S. I decided to choose

STEAMPUNK. Okay, I think some of you may be saying 'What is Steampunk'?  This is an excellent explanation from the CD I used from Jem's Designs - Steampunk Fairies and Friends. 

' Steampunk is set around the Victorian era. You could liken it to a novel by the great author Jules Verne 20, 000 Leagues under the sea, It's all about Trains, Airships, Airplanes, Cars, Bicycles, Machinery, and anything else that could (or could be imagined) to be run by steam, looking old and rusty. The clothing is just as weird, and wonderful with Hats, Goggles, Boots, Jewellery, Glasses, Keys, Clocks and Cogs.'

The Butterflies and sentiment are from Debbie Moore Shabby Chic - Time Flies CD, the remainder from the CD mentioned above. For the main body of the card I used black card, a layer of silver embossed mirri card then a layer and main image from the CD. 

Steampunk is an acquired taste you ether like it, get it or the you don't. I thought I'd try something different. Me, I like Steampunk, took me a while to get it but I'm a devout follower know. Waiting for another CD to arrive, can't wait for it landing on my doorstep. I'll be around to see what you found to do with the letter S.Most of all have fun everyone.
