Hello and welcome to my blog. Todfay we begin our newest challenge for Cardz 4 Guyz. Jolanda has chosen #362 Holiday/Christmas Tag and or a Card. To see the inspiration created by the design team, please visit the blog.

Tags are a wonderful way to experiment with design and techniques. They can be a personal gift tag, or something to make, just for the fun of it, an example of this being aboave,  I will also be adding it to a present in a few weeks time. I used paper from a bright selection of papers in my stash. The reindeer once existed on an old ATC, another practice piece. I added some Washi tape and a die cut. The small greetings stamps are from LOTV stamp set, old but great fun. I hope you have fun making your tag or card.

#167 Feature a Christmas Song or Carol

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today we begin a new challenge at Sparkles Christmas challenges. Debbie, on the DT has chosen #167 Feature a Christmas Song or Carol. To see the wonderful inspiration from the design team please visit the blog.

I have always liked the song Little Donkey, first sang by the Beverley Sisters, only if your elderly, you will have heard of them. Later it bcame a hit again sang by Nina and Frederick.

For my card I used a plain white card, and added printed papers from a Dreamees CD - Simply Christmas, layered onto a silver Mirri mat.  A pretty die to mat a topper from a Pollyanna Pickering collection of Christmas Toppers. I added a Christmas greeting, 3 small silver studs and snowflakes created with a punch.

Favourite Colour Combo

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today we begin a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz. Johanna, on the design team, has chosen, #239 Your Favourite Colour Combo. To see the remainder of the team's creative inspiration, please visit the blog.

I love making black and white or white and black cards, so my favourite colours are simply black and white, however I couldn't decide which to feature, so I made one of each.
On the black card on the left, I heat embossed the Flying Stars stamp by Penny Black, with detailed white embossing powder, from Stampendous.  I did the same with the small butterfly stamp, a freebie with the Craft Stamper magaizine. I added white pearls and a sentiment stamp.
On the white card on the right, I embossed the same stamps with Black Tinsel Wow! embossing powder. I added a ribbon with a bow and white pearls. Have fun with your favourite combo.

Grateful/Thankful/Blessed

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today we begin a new challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz.  Sue J has chosen #361 Grateful/Thankful/Blessed. To see the inspiration created by the design team, please visit the blog.

For my project I decided to use a C6 card i.e 6" x 4".

Using a dauber I rubbed on 3 Distress Inks. Fossilized Amber, Twisted Citron and Evergreen Bough. The stamp is from a set of stamps called - Eastern Grasses - originally from Elusive Images which later became Chocolate Baroque. The Thank You sentiment stamps is an old, yet faithful foam stamp. Have fun, I look forward to seeing your masculine projects.
