I coloured the top one with Yellow and the other colour being the green leaves, all with Promarkers. To the centre of the yellow flowers , I added white Card Candi, do you remember them, from a while back? I still have lots and lots and never get round to using them. Animals

Hello and welcome to my blog. Firstly I apologise for the delay, we should have published this challenge on Saturday 15th August. I am a few days late. My computer totally crashed and died on me on Thursday evening. Here I am with  a sparkling new computer, after many hours of stress and uncertainy, of having to dip into the savings meant for a few trips away to buy a computer. I really would have had doubts but I love the challenge blogs I organise, so hear I am. Still working my way through a few teething problems.
Our new challenge for the next month, at Sparkles Monthly is #203 Animals chosen by Samantha. To see the inspiration from the design team, please visit the blog.

For my card, I began with a white 6" card. I added a piece of black card for the main mat. Using an A5 set of Zebra stamps from Hobby Art, I stamped each part onto plain copyypaper, fussy cut them out then onto another piece of copypaper I played with them as if a jigsaw puzzle, arranging till I had my final design. I created the background onto white card iusing DI's then inked the stamps with Versafine, placing them as my oriaginal design. I added the  African artwork along the base of the card.  Thanks for your visit.

Hot Air Balloons

Hello, thanks for your visit. Today we begin a new challenge at Cardz 4, Guyz. It's my turn to choose and I love to see Hot Air Balloons flying over the fields near my home. The answer is NO. I have no desire to be on board any, never, never, but they do look amazing. so here we are #389 Hot Air Balloons. To see the design team's inspiration please visit the blog.

I began with a  white 6" card. I cut the right side of the front off, leaving a piece wide enough for the blue background, gold mirri and the Bookmark of a Hot Air Balloon from Hunkydory Bookmark Toppers. I placed a piece of acetate to fit on and over and the cat flap and main card, affixing with red tape. The background is a piece of blue sky and clouds from my stash, lucky find, and a page from a Hunkydory Little Book, - Planes, Trains and Automobiles., adhered to a plain blue piece of card.

A few of our team are taking a break, so here is a card, which I made a number of years ago.

Materials used were The countryside background is a stamp by Hobbycraft Art Lt.-flypast set.(closed, sadly). The red balloon is by Crafty Individuals CI 336, the other two balloons are from Creative Expressions Vintage Aircraft set. All coloured with both watercolours and Promarkers.

Horticulture -Creating Gardens

Hello, welcome. today we begin a new challenge at Alphabet Challenges. It was my turn to choose the theme, bearing in mind the weather, we in the Uk and Euripe have been having, I thought of gardens. Our challenge is H is for Horticulture - the science of creating gardens. Have fun. To see the inspiration from our design team, please visit the blog.

I began with a 6 x 4 inches piece of card. I splodged it with several neutral colours, dried it, then blended with a few Distress inks. I added a piece of hessian (burlap), then a strip of card, coloured with DI Pumice Stone. I then stamped the plant pots and herbs from a magazine, Simply Cards and Papercraft #214. Fussy cut and coloured the pots and plants with Promarkers and a few fine tipped pens. They were all attached . Additional stamps added to the card. This was matted onto a dark green card, then the 6x4 completed piece was glued to a 7x 5 card.
