Favourite Christmas Stamp and Why?

Hello, welcome to my blog. Today we begin a new challenge at My Time To Craft Christmas.    The challenge is #12 Favourite Christmas Stamp and Why? We are still a new Christmas blog so please do take a look at the very talented design team's creations and for more details.
For my card I used a 5 x 7 in card., added a mirri card mat. I stamped the greeting, then die cut the oval. I then dry embossed with a snowflake embossing folder.  Crystals added to the centre of some of the snowflakes.  The Inkadinkado Santa stamped onto white card, coloured with Promarkers,  added to the card, to sit behind the oval. The embossed piece added with foam pads.
Why is this stamp my favourite? Despite it's age and the usage I have had of it, it still stamps beautifully, he is so charming, sophisticated and versatitle. Below are a few of my previous cards to show how versatile he is, as a tag, vintage and more modern from a Sketch challenge, which as a matter of interest was my first DT card when I joined MTTC way back in 2013.   Enjoy.

hello, everyone, I hope you are well and ready to be creative. Today we begin a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz.  Dawn S has chosen for #149 Circles and Purples. Please check out the blog for dertails and to see the creations by the design team.
For my card, I wasn't at all sure what I was going to do, I looked through a few magazines and decided to make in the Mixed Media style, I hope I have achieved it. the circles were created using a stencil from Inkylicious, using DI Dusty Concord with finger daubers, drawing around the circle before removing the stencil. Lightly sprayed with a light blue and a purple spray. Lightly stamped arrows and  writing. The large butterfly by Sheena Douglass, stamped on card, coloured with Promarkers, highlighted with a purple glitter pen. Fussy cut and adhered with 3d foam pads.  The greeting from a magazine ser of stamps, fussy cut and lightly coloured purple. I had fun making this card.  I hope you do too. Take care and stay safe.

Floral Extravaganza

Hello, my second card and dchallenge today. It is the 15th of the month so we begin a new challenge at Sparkles Monthly Challenges.  Helen has chosen for #141 Floral Extravaganza.  We are hoping to see lots of flowers for this challenge. Please take a look at the blog for details and to see the inspiration created by the design team.

For my card, I stamped in archival Sepia the stamp Petunia by Lisa Horton. It is a square stamp,  it stamped so well. I coloured it with Promarkers, using two shades of pink and 2 of green. I drew around all of the flowers and foliage with a light grey Promarker . The white 'happy' die, has a green shadow.  The Birthday stamp is from my stash. The stamped image has a moss green card for a mat.  I really enjoyed the intricate colouring with this beautiful stamp.

Things in the Sky at MTTC

Hello, thanks for popping in to see this card. Today a new challenge at My Time To Craft (MTTC) begins, Pat has chosen Things in the Sky. So many items flashed through my mind, then I rememberd  about this stamp, it's only been inked once, so time for another outing, so to speak.

For my 6" sq card. I have a yellow card to mat the main design. On white card I stamped the clouds, then blended DI Tumbled Glass onto the card, avoiding the clouds. Using a glue pen and Diamond Frost glitter, I brightened the clouds around the edges. Added the birthday greeting. The helicopeter was stamped onto card, coloured with Promarkers, fussy cut and added with 3d foam pads for dimension. Added Charlie Tango. All stamps by Woodware Stamps. Enjoy the challenge.
