Word Inspiration - Rainbow
Hello and welcome, firstly sorry about the slight blur on my photo. Today we begin a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz. Pamela has chosen #281 Word Inpiration - Rainbow. To see the design team's inspiration please visit the blog. We send our best wishes to Sue J who is recovering from surgery. Get well wishes sent from us all.
Word Inspiration -Rainbow, Wow, this sent the old brain waves into motion. I had to think of this one for a few weeks, all I kept thinking of was the old ditty, I learn't as a child, Richard of York, Gave Battle In Vain, If your not sure of it , here it is Richard -Red Of,Orange York - Yellow, Gave -Green, Battle -Blue In -Indigo - Vain- Violet.
When looking through some dies for inspiration I came across my branch of birds, seven needed, perfect, cut one off. I kept repeating the sentance of Richard of York, from there it just all fell in place. I embossed the white sheet with a bark like Embossing Folder. Matted onto black card. The birds were coloured in the seven rainbow colours. I die cut the sentiment You Brighten my day, Hunkydory, then coloured it with Prism Inks also from Hunkydory I glued at random seven colours of sequins. The lower sentiment , You are Amazing is from a Hunkydory 'Just My Type' paper pad, again Hunkydory. I hope you have as much fun and are inspired by this challenge as I was.

I first took an A 4 blue Matt card and folded it in half, giving me an A5 card for the base of my card.I then added white card then I added a striped paper. I used the same Matt card to mat the design at the beach. I then added a strip of sea shells as an embellishment down the left side. The sentiment is a die cut. The card and papers are all from a Hunkydory - 'Coastal Charm' collection. The sentiment is also a die from Hunkydory.

A Kid's Card
Hello and welcome to my blog. today we begin a new challenge at Sparkles Monthly Challenges. Dawn has chosen #202 A Kid's Card. to see the inspiration from the design team please visit the blog.
I made two cards from the same source. all card and topper designs are from Hunkydory - the kit being Teddy Times with an 8x8 paper pad and backing cards.
The top card, I cut with both a die and a blade the oval aperture, adding the topper on the inside. Matted onto a gold backing card. I added gold pearls to the front. The insert was added on the back of the card.
The lower card - I used a backing card to create an easel card, decorated with toppers and sentiments. Red gems were added and a gold frame.
Happy crafting.

For Festivity Card
Hello and welcome to my blog.
Today at Alphabet Challenges we begin our new challenge. I have chosen F is for Festivities. To see the inspirational cards from the design team, please visit the blog.
I chose to celebrate a wedding because I knew I had a wedding folder in my stash. All the wedding related ephemera were given to me from a friend, some time ago. I began with a white 7 in x 5 in. I added a pretty beige mat decorated with a rose ribbon strip of paper and a few white small pearls. Inside the die cut white card frame I added the tag of the happy couple. The glasses and a few fussy cut roses were added with glue and a small 3d foam pad. I hope you will find a festivity to create a card. Best wishes.
