Embossing Heat or Dry
Hello, on Thursday 5th, we began a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz. Debbie has chosen
#271 Embossing Heat or Dry. To see the remainder of the design team's inspiration, please visit the blog.
I began with a 5 x 7 inch white base card. I added a yellow mat background. I used an embossing folder to create the design. Using watercolour pens and Promarker alcohol pens I coloured the flower heads. I added a blending of Wild Mushroom ink . The sentiment is a die for Mother's Day, which in the UK is March 15th.

I fussy cut, layer 1-the pocket and attached roses. layer 2 - fussy cut two large roses, fussy cut the butterfly. All except the butterfly were added with 3d foam pads, the butterfly just glue on the ?thorax. From pages for layers 1 & 2 I cut the roses from the bottom page and added these flat on the right side of the card. The greeting is from Just My Type Seniment paper pad from Hunkydory. Total pages used only 3, another card can be made with the remaining 3 pages. I love the little books.
