Something Beginning with T

Hi everyone, welcome to my blog.
Today is the start of a new challenge, chosen by Amy at
Cardz 4 Guyz.
We would like to see Something Beginning with the Letter T
Please check out the details and wonderful inspiration from the DT.
I was inspired by a card on Pinterest and I chose Trees.
An A6 Navy card, with a silver foil mat.
A white card, blended with DI Chipped Sapphire, the moon created
with a punched circle moon, removed after completing the blending.
Several trees stamped with Chipped Sapphire in first, second and third
generations creating the appearance of depth.
Clear EP heated to create a shiny finish, which looks like frost.
Stamp is a pine tree from a Scenescape Set
Sentiment stamp by Crafter's Companions.

For my DT card, I was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest.

using Frayed Burlap Distress Ink.
I used Vintage Photo around the edges to give a distressed finish.
Red Ribbon from my stash.
The pine trees stamp is part of a Scenescape set.
Stamped with Vintage Photo and Fire Brick.
The sentiment stamp is from my stash.
Santa stamp is one of my all time favourites from ?Inkadinkado.

Addicted to CAS - # 1 SNOW

At long last, this week sees the start of a new two weekly challenge - ADDICTED TO CAS.  We are a sister challenge group to ADDICTED TO STAMPS AND MORE. One of the design team will choose a one word topic for each challenge and to get us started  the site's owner Kylie has chosen

We are thrilled to be sponsored by

who will give a prize of $20.00 (Australian) to the winner of the challenge.
Please pop over to our challenge blog to check out the rules and to see the fabulous creations involving snow from the design team.

Here is my card
I was inspired by Barbara Grey to make this card. I cut the strip to size and adhered it when it was completed, I wasn't brave enough to go direct to the card. The sky, mountain line was created by inking onto the edge of torn paper, at the front I stamped the log cabin and trees and the tall trees to the right side of the card.  I used a Quickie glue pen to create the marks on the mountains, then added Crystal glamour Dust. The embossing lines were added after the strip was adhered.
Stamps used. Scenescape Log Cabin and trees.
Greeting Peace on Earth - From stash source unknown
Embossed lines = Keepsake board.
I look forward to visiting you over the next two weeks, please check on our blog before entering your card, we don't have many rules but obviously we do need to be fair, so need a few. Have fun.

A Nautical Theme

This week the Fashionable Stamping Challenge is Nautical, please pop over to check out al of the information, but to also see the wonderful projects which are sure to inspire you made by the Design Team.  Of course the sponsor cottage Crafts is also offering her regular prize to the outright winner. For my Nautical theme I made a scenic card.
Everything has been stamped and coloured with Promarkers.
Clouds, Lighthouse and cottage, the sand, the boats, the grasses are all from Creative Expression- Sheena Douglass -Coast.  The rocks and the sea waves are from Scenescape stamps. The galleon from a pirate set from Tandastamps. The birds are from Inkylicious.  This card did involve a lot of masking. I first stamped it out onto normal copy paper, to work out which was to be stamped first and then in what order to work out the masking,  time consuming but for me an enjoyable time was spent. I look forward once again to visiting your blogs over the next two weeks.
