Anything BUT a Card

Hello, today we begin a new two weekly challenge at Make My Monday.  Mary V has chosen #155 Anything But a Card. For further information and to see the inspiration from the design team, please pop over to the blog.  As soon as I saw no card, I thought Scrapbooking, a favourite of mine. The title 'Beach' was made with Alphabet stamps and a set of See D alphabet stamps. The background is Bazzil card, chosen to tone with the seaweed paper and aqua papers. I stamped a boat on the tag which explains the interest in the strange piece of seaweed, which looked as though it had teeth.  I added further shells by cutting them form a scrapbook page. For additional interest the young boy is one of my grandsons, this is an old photo of a while ago now but it brings back so many memories on a scrapbook page. Take care, I hope you enjoy doing something different from a card.  Stay safe.

Christmas Music

Hello, thanks for popping by. Today we begin a new challenge at Sparkles Christmas Challenges, this is a monthly challenge. For August our challenge is #127 Christmas Music. For more details and to see the inpiration from the design team, please pop over to the blog.

For my card, a 6" white card, I used Kraft card to emboss a music sheet, not being, in any way a music reader, I haven't a clue as to what the music is, but like me, let's pretend it is a sheet of Christmas music. The stamp is definely suitable for the challenge, the Christmas chior is by LOTV.  I coloured with Promarkers, die cut an oval shape and used Vintage photo to soften the white card. Joy to the World  from my Christmas stash is my chosen sentiment.
