Relax


Hello again, thanks for your visit and  previous comments.
Today we begin a new two weekly challenge at 
Cardz 4 Guyz - Julie has chosen
RELAX

I have used a shaped card and stamped directly onto it.
I thought the less there was of decoration the more relaxed
it would be. 
The stamp - Take It Easy - by LOTV  was coloured with
Promarkers. 
The Relax letters are die cut. 
The birthday greeting stamp is by Crafter's Companions

Anything Goes Chirstmas #33


Hi, we are back, we've had a short summer break at
and are returning with  #33 Anything Goes (Christmas)

For my card I used  Christmas paper printed 
from a Dreamees CD - Simply Christmas
A pretty die to mat a topper from a Pollyanna Pickering
collection of Christmas toppers. 
I added a greeting and snowflakes from a punch.

Make an ATC


Hello, today at My Time to Craft our two week challenge
begins with Make an ATC.

I made 3 random designed cards, all with different techniques. 
Left ATC - Blended Distress Inks- Images stamped - glitter glue
Centre ATC - Blended Distress inks - Background stencils- Foreground stamps
Right ATC - Paper painted with acrylic paint - 2nd paint streaked -dried -
main image stamped and heat embossed.
ATC's have always been a love of mine since way back in 2003
A wonderful way of experimenting with new techniques.

Use an Embossing Folder

Hello again, thanks for your visit, I know at this time
of the year, many of you will be off on your hols, 
basking in the sun or even coping with kids all day long,
so if you have taken the time to visit then a hug is on it's way.
Today we begin Challenge #8 at 
We would like for you to  Use an Embossing Folder
The Design Team have made some fabulous cards
to inspire you, please go and take a look.
I have used an EF by Crafter's Companion, 
I coloured it with DI Peacock Feathers and Twisted Citron,
The stamped greeting is by Sheena Douglass.
The butterflies are die cuts, coloured before removing
from the die with the same DI's as above. 
Mounted onto black card for dimension.

Coloured Image


Hello again, today we begin a new challenge at Make My Monday. 
Silvi has chosen for Challenge # 76 Coloured Image.
We need you to colour the image, so time to get colouring. 
The DT have had fun getting out their pens, brushes and pencils.
For my card, the main image is a free digi stamp I found on Pinterest, 
I coloured her with Promarkers, using the colours from the papers.
The papers are from my stash from a paper pad.
Organza and satin ribbon  to embellish. 
The greeting stamp is from my stash. 
The flowers were fussy cut from the waste of paper 
used for the background.

Ice Cream


Hi, thanks for your visit. Today at Alphabet Challenges 
Silvi has chosen for the letter I - Ice Cream. 
Oh! now who doesn't like Ice Cream?
The Design Team have enjoyed playing with this one,
perfect for the wonderful summer weather, we in the UK are
experiencing at present. 
For my card, the papers and the ice cream are free downloads
from the internet. I kinda fussy cut and moved the 
ice cream around a little to fit the cones. 
Coloured with Promarkers.
Of course there is glitter sprinkled here and there. 
Glossy accents on the red sauce - when I was a child, this
was called Monkey's blood, so not PC nowadays or is it? 
Have fun, I'm off to have a bowl of ice cream.

I have a 7" sq. card with scallop edged, the front page 
folded back, to form a Z card. 
The papers and topper are from a CD  by The Card Hut -
Fabulous Tea and Cakes - 
Backing card both black and purple for contrast. 
jewels and a greeeting added.

Men's Fashion




Hello, welcome to my blog. We are starting a new
challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz 
Dawn has chosen an interesting challenge
Men's Fashion
Please don't miss out on seeing the DT ideas on the blog.
For my A5 card I have dabbled in mixed media with
old book pages  to cover the main card and sponged with
 Vintage Photo DI.  A white piece of card was coloured with 
several Distress Inks, splattered with Cosmic Shimmer red spray.
 The background stamps are from a Creative Expressions set - Flight - 
the men in black are from Tim Holtz , the other gentleman
 is from Kanban - Jasper set.

Fairies


Hello, thanks for your visit. Today at Sparkles Monthly Challenges
our new challenge chosen by Tracey begins  -a popular one, no doubt.
Challenge #106  -- Fairies
The Design Team have again produced  wonderful inspiration,
please do go over to check it out and see their cards.
For my card, I have used a 7" white scallop edge card.
Matted with black, then white card. 
the nmain card was white, I used various Distress Inks 
to create the background.  The outer darker colour is 
Seedless Preserves.
The two large flowers are Dotty Daisies by Woodware Stamps.
The remainder are by Lavinia Stamps, including the Fairies. 
I have added glitter here and there, of course!
Witha  Sakura white gel pen I added some highlights.

Wedding, Anniversary etc.

Hello, thanks for your visit. Today we begin a new challenge 
Mags has chosen, Weddings, Anniversaries, Engagements etc.
The choice is yours.

I chose a Wedding, (I think most of the DT did).
A 7" white scallop edged card, Mat - silver mirri card.
I embossed a sheet of white card with an E.F. 
First stamping a greeting in the top left corner.
A wide piece of lace added and wrapped around the mirri card.
Die cut a piece of white card and two pieces of pink card.
The stamp is by LOTV - Over the Threshold.
Coloured with Promarkers. Glitter added.
Gems, flowers and an  embossed bow all from my stash.

A Simple Stepper Card

I used the link and found it was so easy. Once I made the
stepper card, then I added the design.

- Off To the Races.
All were backed with black card to add dimension.

I have a number of grandsons and my card fits their ideas

The papers, goggly eyes are from my stash.
I coloured the monsters with Promarkers.

I made an 8" scallop edge card, I used a sheet of deep pink glittery 
foil paper as contrast. 
The decoupage image came from a sheet I bought at a 
craft event. The background papers, ribbons etc are
all from my stash. This card was made for my
granddaughter's 18th birthday.

For A Little Girl
The DT have some really sweet inspiration for you on the blog.
I used a small 5.5 white scallop edge card. Papers and the
decoupage image were printed from a Hunkydory USB #7
I used silver mirri for the contrast.
It can't be seen but white and silver glitter is splattered
over the topper. Have fun.

Blue and Brown


Hello again, our new challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz
was chosen by me, Blue and Brown. 
It has been a while since we had a colour challenge.

I love Kraft card and of course blue, I do think they go 
together so well, especially for the guyz.
I used a  scallop edged A5 Kraft card.
The backing paper was from a 12" sq. paper pad 
Trendy Blue Lifestyle - from The Works. 
Blue card cut with an oval die.
The  decoupaged images are from a Hunkydory USB # 02.
Greetings from another CD - the Best of La Pashe 2012.

Christmas Stockings


Hello, thanks for your visit to my blog. Today we started a new
challenge at a monthly blog - Sparkles Christmas Challenges.

I made a dark blue scallop edged circular card, I matted a piece of 
holographic silver card for the die cut circle.
The image is a stamp by Debbie Moore, both the stocking 
and the sentiment were embossed with white detail powder.
