Inky Backgrounds

Hello again,

Thanks for popping by. Today at Back to Basics and Beyond 

We are interested to see your

Inky Backgrounds.

We still have open a DT Call, we need a few more to join us.

I used a mixture of Distress Inks by Ranger. These were 

blended , dried, water splashes added and then dried. 

The flower stamp is from Sparkles Garden.

 I decoupaged  the flowers which were coloured with Promarkers

 and Glitter pens by Sakura

Other stamps used are from Fairy Magic. Both sets

are by Crafters Companion.

Fairytale/Fantasy

Hello again, we have something very pretty for you in the

 next challenge at Cardz 4 Galz.

Helen has chosen for the challenge

Fairytale or Fantasy

The Design Team have had great fun with this, please pop over

to see their inspirational cards.

I love playing with my Distress Inks, I blended some of the 

new bright colours for my background,

Abandonded Coral, Twisted Citron and Mermaid Lagoon.

I am still needing to get a few more before my collection is complete. 

I then splattered on water and patted it off, to create the bleached areas.

Stamps used are from Chloe Stamps the Dandelion.

The foilage and toadstools are frm Lavinia stamps.

The Fairies are by Sheena Douglass,  - Hidden Fairies.

The sentiment from Lily of the Valley stamps.

Crystal Stickles to the Dandelion heads. 

Challenge #2 Fairies

Hi, thanks so much for taking the time to visit me, it is  greatly appreciated.

Kraft card to mat pieces

All papers from Dovecrafat paper pad - Garden Party

Strip of hessian (burlap) and crystal gems.

Flowers stamped with Dreamees stamp.

Leaves stamped with a Sheena Douglass leaf stamp

The main image and Sentiment by LOTV.

Fairy stamp is an old one but a favourite of mine

Fairy Thistledown.

Coloured with Promarkers.

Lots of Glamour Dust glitter scattered around.

Materials Used

White and Black cardstock cut to size. ( 6" card)

Silver mirri card

White card

Distress Inks - Fossilized Amber, Squeezed Lemonade, 

Cracked Peistachio, Mermaid Lagoon and Chipped Sapphire

Stamps from Inkylicious - Grasses. Remainder all  Lavinia stamps

Glue pen and silver glitter.

Fantasy

This week at My Time To Craft (MTTC) our challenge is Fantasy - Yes, we want to see fairies, or dragons, or elves or mermaids, anything you consider to be from the world of Fantasy. Please pop over to see what the Design Team have made for you. I have made a card using Lavinia stamps. I first created the background with Peeled Paint, Stormy Sky and Dusty Concord, splatted a few water drops then dried it with a heat gun. I added a little amount of glitter to highlight some areas. I'm looking forward to visiting your areas of Fantasy ( bet you smiled there) during the next week. Have fun.
