Stars and or Stripes


Hello, I hope you and yours are well. Today we 
begin a new challenge at Make My Monday.

My card is another ready for the family, 
so perfect for the little boys.
All papers and the image are from a

I added the greeting, gems and twine.

B is for Boy's Card

Hello, thanks for your visit. I hope you are staying safe.
Crafting is a wonderful, peaceful escape from the news.
Today at Alphabet Challenges we have the letter B.
B is for Boy's Card.

I made an A5 card, with a decoupaged dinosaur,
the dinosaur and papers are all from a CD by Kraftyhands
Dangerous Dinosaurs.
I have found this a very useful CD in my collection, lots of 
boys (and girls) love dinosaurs.

Anything Goes


Hello again, I hope you are well, thanks for your visit.
Today at Alphabet Challenges we are starting all over again
with our A- Z of challenges. 
It may surprise you to know that 2020 is the 10th Anniversary
of Alphabet Challenges - it's first full year being 2010. 
For our letter A we have - Anything Goes

For my card - the main image is a Polkadoodles 
girl saying Hi on a Swing. Coloured with Promarkers.
Background papers, card, layers, pearls all from my stash.
The flowers are from a stamp and die set free with a craft magazine.

Something for Youngsters


Hello, welcome and thanks for your visit.
Today we begin a new challenge at Alphabet Challenges
for the letter Y we have Something for the Youngsters.

The stamps I used are from an Indian company - Craftyscrappers,
with the Magicdal birthday set. Coloured with Promarkers.
They are such cute dragons,  I love them.
Matted onto a pearl purple card.

Triple Stamping

Hello, thanks for your visit. Today a new challenge begins
The challenge is # 29 Triple Stamping Technique

for a tutorial. Also there are fabulous inspirational
cards from the DT.
My card is a 6" sq (what's new there).  The stamp is
by Woodware - Cool Dude.
I used Pomarkers to colour. 
Black to mat each of the layers. 
'Cool Dude' was coloured with a glitter marker pen.

Y is for Yarn, String or Twine

Hello again, What a change in the weather, at least it is now 
back to normal, cold March, soon we will be having
 the winds, so we can go fly our kites.
Today we begin a new challenge at Alphabet Challenges.
For the letter Y - Darlene has chosen 
Yarn, String or Twine, the choice is yours.
Please check out the cards from Team B.
My card is CAS. A mat of red card, plain 
white card on which I stamped the boy and his kite.
The stamp is by Do Crafts called Kite Flying.
Coloured with Promarkers. 
I added red and yellow twine down the side hoping 
it looks something like the kite strings. 
Have a good day crafting.

Numbers Games

Hello again, I hope you are well, comfortable  and safe.
Today at Make My Monday Priya has chosen for our new
two weekly challenge - 
Number Games. 
Plese pop and check out for details and to see the amazing
creations by the DT.
I was asked to make a card for a  3 yr old Nephew's birthday.
I was told he loved elephants, the colour blue and balloon. 
The elephant is by Craft Creations, It is decoupaged, the last layer 
being the trunk with a piece of twine leading to the balloon. 
The head is on one of the springy things, so the head bobbles 
when touched.  I am happy to say the child loves the card
and it sits on the top of his wardrobe in his bedroom.

All At Sea


Hello, here we are again, two blogs today. 
Over at Cardz 4 Guyz we are starting a new challenge
for the next two weeks.  Helen has chosen
All At Sea

I have made a card for a child, using Woodware's 
'Toot the Tug' stamp, coloured with Promarkers.
The sea has been created by tearing card, two shades of
blue and white for the foam.
Faded Jeans DI used to colour the sky.

Bugs


Hello, thanks for your visit, a new challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz
starts today. We would like to see BUGS - Please check the blog
for more information, also to see  amazing projects by the DT.
For my background I have used papers from my stash.
The bugs have been printed from Clip Art freebies.
I used a punch for the circles, added dots and leaves.
Fixed all the bugs with 3d stickers. 
Die Cut the greeting. Have fun.

Back to School


Hello, first I apologise for the blueness of my photo, 
I have decided to stop trying to make the photos look good 
with the north of the country light v indoor light.
A light box was ordered today, so no excuses for future pics.

Amy has chosen 'Back to School'

I made a stepper card to accommodate all of the 
clip art I managed to find. 
The 123 and abc are die cuts. The banner and greeting 
are stamps. The image is the little boy going Back to School
by LOTV. Coloured with Promarkers and pencils. 
Have fun everyone, the little ones will soon be 
going back to school, more crafting tiime ahead!!. ?

Coloured Image


Hello again, today we begin a new challenge at Make My Monday. 
Silvi has chosen for Challenge # 76 Coloured Image.
We need you to colour the image, so time to get colouring. 
The DT have had fun getting out their pens, brushes and pencils.
For my card, the main image is a free digi stamp I found on Pinterest, 
I coloured her with Promarkers, using the colours from the papers.
The papers are from my stash from a paper pad.
Organza and satin ribbon  to embellish. 
The greeting stamp is from my stash. 
The flowers were fussy cut from the waste of paper 
used for the background.

For A Little Girl


Hello and welcome to my blog.  Today at Cardz 4 Galz
our new challenge #75 starts -- Wendy has chosen
For A Little Girl
The DT have some really sweet inspiration for you on the blog.
I used a small 5.5 white scallop edge card. Papers and the
decoupage image were printed from a Hunkydory USB #7
I used silver mirri for the contrast.
It can't be seen but white and silver glitter is splattered
over the topper. Have fun.

Ice Cream



Hello, today we start a new challenge at Make My Monday.
Emma has chosen Ice Cream. It can be the colours of ice cream 
or lollies or even ice cream. My fellow DT have some lovely ideas
so please pop over to see what they have been up to.
My small white card has been matted with silvi mirri card.
A very pretty pink backing paper with lots of white hearts.  
The fairy with the birthday cake is a print out from a
Hunkydory #7 USB.  I edged the circle with Worn Lipstick DI.
Strawberries and vanilla ice cream was my inspiration. 
Greeting is a die cut  creation from silver mirri card.

Science Fiction/Steampunk

Hello everyone, if you're in the UK, hope you are enjoying
this beautiful sunshine. Maybe not the best weather for crafting,
but we won't have to wait long for rain to return.
Today we begin a new challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz.
Time for a little adventure - the theme being
Science Fiction or Steampunk
Please pop over to see the inspiration from the DT,
most have gone for the Science Fiction.
For my card, on the background I added 
mirri card to a white scallop edge 7" white card.
Onto this I adhered a piece of blue webbed material, this 
has sat in a craft box for years, but I knew I would use it one day,
 and here we are. It provides a wonderful background for my
free digi stamps I found on Pinterest. All coloured with Promarkers.
Have fun, I certainly did, it was certainly different.

W is for Wheels


Hi, hope you are well, thanks for your visit. Today at Alphabet Challenges
we have reached the letter W - Jan has chosen 
WHEELS
Please don't miss popping over to the blog and having a go.
I used a white 7" sq card, Mattered with black card.  The background
paper is from a paper pad - Magic Moments from The Works.
I stamped over this with a skateboard stamp (old one ) from Elusive Images.
I stamped the skateboarder on white card, cut him out. Some sections 
were  coloured with pencils and Promarkers, others I paper pieced.
The skateboarder and other stamps are by Woodware Stamps 
-- Cool Dude. Have fun with your wheels whether they are large or small.

I love Woodware stamps, this being another one called
Sneakers, background stamped using texture stamps from 
Crafter's Companion - Urban Graffiti.
I used Promarkers to colour the sneakers, and stamped the 
background with Faded Jeans.

Boo! Halloween

Hi everyone, thanks for your visit.  I hope you are well and 
enjoying your crafting.
Today we begin a new challenge over at Cardz 4 Guyz. 
Not surprisingly, it being the time of the year we are asking
to see Boo! Halloween entries or if you're not into Halloween
for whatever reasons, we would like to see your 
Autumn Thank You cards.

shame to have missed them.
For my card, I have aimed for the younger male.
The background consists of DI blending, some ink sprays,
The Whitby Abbey stamp from Crafty Individuals, several stamps from 
within my Halloween collection of stamps. The main character of
Count Dracula is by Crafty Sentiments, coloured with Promarkers.
The main card is black cardstock. The glitter edging is strips of 
double sided tape sprinkled with fine silver glitter

Something For a Child

Something For a Child - it can be any handmade project

I was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest.
The stamps used are by Craftyscrappers - Magical birthday set.
They are such cute dragons, I love them.
The dragons are coloured with Promarkers.
The die cut holes sheet is adhered with silicone glue to the 
blue glitter sheet.  Hope you like my card. Have fun.

Jungle Fun

Hi, today we start a new challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz. 
Amy has chosen Jungle Fun. 
Starting with this challenge for over the summer period we
are changing from a weekly to a two weekly challenge blog. 
The DT have created some fabuous ideas of being in the jungle.
Why don't you take a peek on the blog.
I made my card from a decoupage kit. I added
several of my own twists.  The background papers 
and the leaves and the words  are from my stash.
I added a wobbly spring to the head, which is great fun for 
kids (and me) I have been flicking the head regularly.

Numbers


Hi, welcome to my blog. Today we begin a new challenge at
Jan has chosen for the week's challenge 
NUMBERS

I chose to make a card for a 5 year old little boy.
The papers are all from a Papermania paper pad -
Capsule Blueberry Pie.
The 5th and embellishments are stamps by the recently deceased
Jayne Nesterenko. I chose these in her memory.
The large star is from a template in a magazine. 
Hope you will join us in the challenge, we all need a card
sometime or another for a male person, just add a number on it 
and have a go, but rememebr you also need to have fun.
