Sprinkle of Snowflakes

Here I am again playing with my CD's to make another Christmas
card which fits in perfectly with the current challenge at
CD Sunday Challenges
Sprinkle of Snowflakes
It really is a shame, no matter how I have photographed the card
there is no way it can clearly show the decoupage of the birds and the
bird table, nor sadly does the amount of glitter on the ares of snow
appear as glistening as they are.
The background paper and the image are from my go to CD -
The Best of 2012 - La Pashe
White scallop edge card, Silver mirri card to mat card and image.
Thanks Wyn  for a lovely challenge.

Food or Drink

At My Time To Craft for this next week we are challenging you to create any project with the theme of either Food or Drink or maybe even both. What a huge choice this has left for you. Please pop over to the blog to check it our and to see the amazing inspiration from the Design Team. Yummee!! What could be better than swinging in a hammock on a summer's day, drinking your favourite soft drink and enjoying your favourite pizza?  This is exactly the case on my card, thanks to 'The Best of La Pashe' 2012. I have added extra layers of toning blue papers from my stash. I used red card for the contrast to make the card brighter.

Food, Glorious Food

For the next two weeks our challenge at CD Sunday Challenges will be  Food, Glorious Food, chosen by Wynn. I apologise for bringing to the gallery a Christmas card, I know it's only July, and a hot one too, but we have to get started sometime with our cards. You will no doubt spot, I have been making the C cards for a few weeks now, sshh! don't tell anyone but this will be my 42nd prepared card. Still have many more to make for my charity box, family and friends. It is amazing how many cards can be made from  one CD - ' The Best of La Pache 2012' - including my DT card above. The background paper is from a Papermania Christmas pack, red ribbon added, the card then decoupaged. I added Glossy Accents to the holly, jam, garland and of course the Christmas pudding. I look forward  to visiting your blog to admire your Food, Glorious Food.   Have fun and happy crafting.

Gone Fishing

This week at Cardz 4 Guyz Janice in the US has chosen for us GONE FISHING - I believe this is the most popular sport for men in the UK, not sure about it in the US.  If your new to the male orientated blog you will know we accept any medium, technique, we are happy for you to either stay in your comfort zone or experiment. To this purpose this week, I decided to make a card using an old favourite of mine, and again I believe one of the most popular forms of card making and that is decoupage.  My card is made from papers and the decoupaged image from a CD 'The Best of La Pache 2012' which is a wonderful source for a wide variety of topics. I really can't say I designed the card, for I did follow a format from the CD, but I did make the card. So whatever you choose to do, check out the wonderful DT inspiration over on the blog, for there are various formats of techniques. Hope you'll join in with the challenge, Looking forward to visiting you.

I made this cute card a few days ago which suits several challenges.
Sweet Stampin - Feeling Blue
Here Come the Boys - A Blue Christmas
Crafty Cardmakers - Christmas Snow and Ice
The papers and image are from the CD The Best of La Pache 2012, the cute greeting is a stamp from LOTV. I have edged all the pieces with Broken China DI. Added Glamour Dust for the Snow and Ice. Thanks to all challenge groups for the inspiration from their design teams.

Aged to Perfection

It's thanks this week at CD Sunday Challenge to Sue B for choosing our challenge which is Aged to Perfection, now of course this is once again left to your imagination, for there are a few things which do get better with age. However, the moment I saw the makings of this card on The Best of La Pache 2010 CD, I wanted to make a card. I have kept it fairly simple from printing it out for I think the the way the couple are with each other tells their story. I stamped Congratulations onto a banner stamp, and added a printed sentiment, On Your Special Day. I also used a sheet of pale lilac card and purple card printed out from Sheena Douglas Paint Fusion CD, to mat and layer the main image. Have fun everyone looking forward to visiting you, during the next week.

Bundle of Joy

CD Sunday Challenges are this week challenging you to create a project by using a crafting CD for a Bundle of Joy. I am pleased to say, The Best of La Pashe 2012 hasn't let me down yet. Of all of the CDs I have this is my only one which could provide for this week's challenge. I decided, as I was making a card, why not two,  a blue one and a pink one, then if I put them somewhere safe (LOL) I will be prepared. I made a blue and pink card with toning background papers, layered twice with a silver mirri card. I added glitter to the crib, bows and curtains and for that extra embellishment a few paper flowers. The blue Congratulations is with the printout, the Congratulations on the pink card is from a stamp which was free with a magazine. I look forward to visiting you to see what you have found from a CD and how your have achieved the challenge. Have fun ladies and of course any gents who may be taking part.

Hugs and Wishes

For this week's challenge at CD Sunday challenges which is Hugs and Wishes, I honestly looked at many CDs to find a suitable image, as many as I found, I still returned to The Best of La Pache 2012 for in my mind I had transferred the title to Hugs and Kisses so this felt perfect. Once I realised it was Wishes and not Kisses I thought well maybe it is as equally appropriate for there may be a case of lots of wishes going on here. It is decoupaged, I do hope no one is offended for I found it very amusing. I again look forward to visiting your blogs for I greatly enjoy seeing what everyone has found to suit the title as well as the wonderful creations made. Have fun everyone.
