At the Beach

Hello, welcome to my blog, I hope you enjoy your visit.
Today begins a two week challenge at Make My Monday
At The Beach
Please pop over to the blog to see the wonderful inspiration from the DT.
I have used Kraft card for my base card and to mat the design layer.
For my background I used several Distress Inks on watercolour paper.
I created a line for the horizon and for the edge of the sea and sand,
then watercoloured the three areas.
I stamped onto the card to give a base for my decoupaged image.
I stamped the image again onto white card and coloured with
Promarkers. I added another bird on the sand and more in the sky.
Birds in the sky - Sweet Desire Lighthouse Set
Birds and wooden stump from Elusive Images as was pre -
Chocolate Boroque. I used a white pencil for the edge of the sea.

Watercolour

Hello, thank  you for visiting my blog. Today is the start of
our new challenge at Make My Monday, which is
Watercolours
Please pop to the blog to see the details and of course to check
out the Design Team Gallery.
For my card, I decided to go for the Clean and Simple look.
I love watercolours, it is such a relaxing form of art.  Though for this card
I just splashed on three colours with a flat paintbrush. The watercolours
I used are a new set, which have mica in them. The colours are shimmery
which sadly can't be seen on the photo.
The stamp is from Wayside Grasses by Stamps Away.
