Triple Stamping

Hello, thanks for your visit. Today a new challenge begins

at Back to Basics and Beyond.

The challenge is # 29 Triple Stamping Technique

My card is a 6" sq (what's new there).  The stamp is

by Woodware - Cool Dude.

I used Pomarkers to colour. 

Black to mat each of the layers. 

'Cool Dude' was coloured with a glitter marker pen.

My card had a black base, with green card. I embossed 

with Swiss Dots, for the background. 

This is a waterfall card, the stamped areas are from 

Stamps Away, old ones but I still love them.

You gently pull the ribbon, three of the squares 

flip over for you to see the message.

Today we begin a new challenge at Alphabet Challenges.

E is for Embossing Folder

Please take a look at the blog, to see the wonderful

For my card, the base is a white scallop edge card.

Each level is matted onto black card.  White levels were embossed

with Christmas Vines E.F from Craft Concepts.

The embossed pieces were then gently rubbed with 

Gold Metallic Wax Patina.

The sentiment is by Sheena Douglass - Only Words.

The butterflies are fussy cut from Kraftyhands CD 

Butterflies Botanical. - Gems from stash. 

Graduation

Hi everyone, thanks for your visit. 

Today at Cardz 4 Galz we begin a new two weekly challenge.

Challenge #97 Graduation.

For my card I used, black card, gold shimmery card

 embossed with a Vines embossing folder.  The 

mortar board was created with a template I found 

free on Pinterest. I rolled some white paper, wrapped with 

red ribbon for the certificate.

The Congratulations sentiment is from a Papermania stamp.

For my card, I was inspired by a card in the 

Hunkydory Cardmaking Colletion #7

The background sea shell stamps were stamped with Brushed Corduroy DI

All stamps were coloured with Promarkers and  pencils.

The centre design was coloured with various Distress Inks,

All the stamps are in the same kit as above.

I made a 5" sq card, Background mat is silver mirri card, 

the purple star paper  is from a Santoro pack of papers.

The ribbon band and the hanging cameo are from the 

packaging of the papers.

The stamp - Forget-me-not is by Santoro - Gorguss  

I coloured her with Promarkers. 

Crystal jewels added in opposite corners.

For my white 6" sq card,  I have a yellow card mat. 

the stamps and dies were a gift on Issie #191 of 

Simply Cards and Papercraft.

I coloured  the elements with Promarkers,

Die cut and fussy cut the elements.

D is for Distressed

Good morning , thanks for your visit.
Today at Alphabet Challenges a new challenge begins
D is for Distressing Inks/ papers etc.
Please visit the blog to see the ideas of the DT.
For my 6" sq  card I covered it with paper I had created
Using sprays and Moonglow Starburst Mica Paints.
Using Distress inks - Cracked Pistachio - Fossilized Amber
and Mermaid Lagoon I covered the white card,
then bleached  by sprinkling water over the
 coloured card, then patted it dry,
sponging over again with the same colours.
The stamp - Dragonfly Botanical from The Stampman,
stamped with Black Soot DI then clear embossed.
I stamped the dragonfly wings again onto
a piece of the background paper then decoupaged
the wings onto the dragonfly.

Man Cave

We begin a new challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz today.

Chosen by Julie we have 

#219 Man Cave  

All details and inspiration from the DT can be found

I created my Man Cave - also known as the garden shed,

using an embossing folder included in Issue 03 of

the Hunkydory Cardmaking Collection. 

I coloured it with paints and Promarkers.

All the tools were created with stamps from the same source. 

Hope you enjoying playing with whatever man cave you create.
