Christmas in July

Wendy has chosen the challenge this week at CD Sunday Challenges,  which is Christmas in July, I know I agree, it's far too soon for the 'C' word, but not for many card makers who like or need  to start early. Sometimes, I wish I had started early, but I do find I work best to  shorter deadlines. I do think the Pickles and Podge at Christmas Quick cards on The Best of La Pashe 2012 are wonderful cards, so easy to make and so cute and effective. I shall be making many more of these this year. With a Quickie glue pen I added some Chrystal Glamour Dust which I am hoping will show on enlarging the card. Thanks for visiting, looking forward to viewing your cards, I love to see other crafters' ideas. Have fun and take care.

On Your Bike

This week at CD Sunday Challenges, I had some more fun with the wonderful The Best of La Pashe 2012. There were a number of images I could have chosen for our challenge On Your Bike  but this one stirred memories of the days many years passed when my OH and I travelled on his motorbike, we didn't have a side car but this image is so nostalgic and amusing, I hope you too enjoy it. The card was made with left overs again from my stash boxes, apologies for now the sources are unknown. I'm not sure if you can see it has been decoupaged another technique I enjoy going back to. Have fun ladies, I am sure as the Design Team have produced a variety of bikes in their creations, you too will have some variations for us to see, I am looking forward to once again visiting you ladies. I may be late each week but I do get around all entries and I do enjoy visiting everyone. Thanks for your visits to my blog, they are greatly appreciated.

Forever In Blue Jeans

Hello to all of our CD Sunday Challenges Followers. I suppose I could be referred to as a 'Wrinkly' for I well remember my hubby and I dancing as above, but he didn't wear jeans. Yes, it's the jeans we are after for this week's challenge. Anyone wearing jeans or anything related to jeans. Have fun, I'm sorry I didn't get many comments completed for last week, I was a little poorly, am fine now. Hoping to get round to see you all this week. My card was made from The Best of La Pache 2012, I was lucky to get this and another at a reduced price, I so love a bargain. Elements added, a punched strip using an X-Cut Lace Trim punch, ribbon and white Card Candy. Take care everyone in the bad snow conditions and do keep warm.
