Love Is All Around

For My Project
Some time again I bought the LOVE MDF at a craft event.
I was inspired to decorate it for this challenge. 
I recently went to a Crop at Wear Crafts where I completed the project.
I used Dulux match pot Sorbet to first paint the insides and back.
The paper is from my stash, I made the flowers with the reverese of the
same paper, added some pearls and green organza ribbon tied. 
I'm going to fit it to a wall in our bedroom, oh! so romantic!

Love Is In The Air


Hi here I am again, today's card is for Fantasty Stampers,
 where we must use a stamp which requires inking.
The challenge for the next two weeks is 
Love Is In The Air
Valentine's Day is coming up soon, so  we are
celebrating Love. Please pop to see the inspiration
 from the amazing Design Team.
For My Card,
I have chosen non traditional Valentine colours, 
using a cream card with toning Kraft Card.
 The stamp - Heart Garden -  from Woodware stamps,
was first stamped with Versamark, then heat embossed with white
embossing powder.
I used mica paints to colour the flowers and leaves. 
It's a shame you can't see the gorgeous glimmer on the photo.
The sentiment stamp is from Papermania - Sweet Nothings set,

Seasons


Hi everyone, I am enjoying being able to enter the CD Sunday
Challenges, I was so chuffed to have been in the latest Top 3.
I do like the current challenge of 
'Seasons'
It still being winter, that is the season I have chosen.
All the papers and image are from

An 8" square scallop edge card. 
Additions are black card for matting and red card candi.

Challenge #104 Spots or Stripes


Hi everyone, hope your well, warm and keeping safe.
For the next week at Cardz 4 Guyz our challenge is
Spots or Stripes or even Both
The Design team have cdreated some wonderful inspiration
not to be missed, so please do pop and check them out.
For my card, I have used Kraft card and made a 'Z' card.
I folded the front page back on itself, decorated the flap and the
inner page with striped paper on a black mat.
Both the striped paper and the map paper are from Papermania
Mr. Mister range.
The main image is Toot Toot from LOTV. 
Coloured with Promarkers.

Cupcakes

Yummy, gorgeous, delicious but oh! so many calories!
Yes, like many folk after the Christmas delights I have returned to 
my on-going long term aim to loose weight.
I managed to make the card without any  side effects.

There are three layers of  cupcake papers, I then decoupaged

A Kraft scallop edge card.

The gentleman and dog are decoupaged.
Who could resist those big puppy dog eyes?

Blue Is The Colour


Hi, hoping your all well and keeping warm.
For our next challenge for one week at Cardz 4 Guyz 
our challenge is    Blue Is The Colour.

For my card, hopefully to inspire I used a Kraft card.
Several sheets of  blue papers, with navy paper to mat the panels.
The stamped image is Cool Dude from Woodware Stamps. 
This was coloured with Promarkers and edged with DI 
Chipped Sapphire. 
The stars are punched with a Fiskars hand grip punch, stamped
white stars from the stamp set with a brad for the centre.

Stitching Faux or Real


Hi everyone, welcome to my blog, I hope your well, 
and keeping warm, it is so much colder here in the UK.
For the next two weeks at Make My Monday (MMM) our 
challenge is for us to see on your project 
Stitching Faux or Real
Plaease do go to check out the blog for details and inspiration.
For my card which I hope will inspire, I used an A6 black card
to place my Spellbinders Label Die cut piece of black card.
I used a Sakura white pen to create my white faux stitching around
the label and the punched circle greeting.
Using Versamark and Stampendous White E.P I stamped 
the Funky Flowers from Kanban.
I die cut two Marianne butterfly die, embossing as above.
The Smile stamp is from my stash, including the pearls added
 to the flowers and butterflies.

Wild Flowers


Hi, over at CD Sunday Challenges they have a super current challenge
Wild Flowers.
I adore wild flowers,  I would love to see them in my kitchen but of course 
now I am aware it is better for them to stay where nature  intends them to be -
wherever they are growing.
One of the prettiest CDs I have is 
A Walk in the Countryside - artwork by Betty Davies
CD from Creative Crafting World.
I made the small gift bag from a template sheet.
The 6 inch square card has been matted onto gold mirri.
Papers all from the above CD. I decoupaged the ribbon. 
Added a greeting and 3 red card candi. 
With only one more sheet of paper from the CD, I made
an 8 inch card - here are the 3 completed projects.

All About The Boy


Hello again, thanks for popping by to see my DT card for
the next two week's challenge at Fantasy Stampers which is
All About The Boy

For my card I have used a 7" square scallop edge card.
All the papers used are from a LOTV paper pad
'Father Knows Best.' Every panel has been matted onto black card. 
The birthday greeting is from (was) Elusive Images.
The 'Sneakers' are from Woodware Stamps.
I paper pieced the Sneakers.
Coloured the laces with Promarkers.
Stars punched with a Fiskas punch.
Have fun everyone. 

Tag it! at MTTC


For the next two weeks at My Time To Craft (MTTC) we are
setting a challenge to see a tag.
TAG IT!
It would be appreciated if you went to the blog to check out 
the details and see the work by the Design Team. 
For my Tag,
I cut the shape from card, covered the tag with previously prepared
coloured paper, from one of my 'getting messy sessions.'
( sheet of copy paper covered with Moon Glow Starburst water colours, 
scrunched up, then left to dry)
Stamped with a big rubber stamp from The Stampman.
A piece of vellum with Happy Birthday - 2 chrome brads. 
Added flowers, fibres, twine, a Chinese coin and a heart charm.
I greatly enjoyed messing about with this tag, I hope you like it.

For my card, again I have a white scallop edge card.
All the papers, including the flowers are from a Papermania 
paper pad - Capsule Collection - Blueberry Pie. 
I used Chipped Sapphire to edge all the card used for matting, 
including the edge of the Marianne die to mat the stamped verse.

Pearls added to flowers and card.

For My Card
A white scallop edge card - striped paper added top and bottom.
Patterned paper edged with green card.
Circle - Spellbinder die - stamped with a 'Potted plants' stamp
from Little Claire stamps range. The stamp was masked twice
to extend the design.
Coloured with Promarkers. Greeting stamp from LOTV. 
Butterflies - Marianne Dies. 
All the papers are from 'Garden Party' paper pad from Papermania.

shape, size, or type, as long as there is a window.

For my card, I have kept it simple but I think it is pretty.

Background paper is from La Pashe 'Best of 2012'.
The main image is printed from a CD I bought ages ago on E bay
'100 Windows'.
I added a stamped greeting and a few paper roses.

Challenge # 13 Something New


Hello, to my visitors, thanks for popping by.
Today being Thursday is time for the challenge at 
It being a new year, some new beginnings, our challenge is for us to see
Something New
Pop over to the blog for more information and to see the inspiration from the DT.
The challenge will be for two weeks, starting today we are changing from a weekly to a 
two weekly blog, plenty of time for you to get creating. 
I watched a wonderful video on Facebook on how to carry out the above technique,
I realise I am not as perfect as the demonstrator was (thank you) but boy did I have fun. 
It was great to get messy again, I haven't had a messy ink day for a while.
I used from Peerless Designs a Dahlia Mask to create the white embossed flower.
I then used my NEW  Brusho powders to create this NEW (for me) technique.
The greeting stamp is from Sheena Douglass, as below.

The mask is from Imagination Crafts.

Hi, the first challenge for 20 16 from Ruby's Rainbow Challenges is

A chance to show us anything new, mybe brought my Santa or friends, 
or it could be a new technique, all we need is for you tell us what is new.
I hope you like this challenge because I am the DT memebr  who chose it.

For my Card.
A 6" square white scallop edge card.
Sheet of white card, blended with Broken China and edged with 
Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks. 
Stamped with NEW Papermania  Urban Christmas greetings using 
Chipped Sapphire. I also stamped a few snowflakes from stash.
The topper was stamped with NEW Hobbyart Farmbouse Scenic set.
Coloured with Distress Inks as watercolours. 
Lots of glitter added for the snow areas. 
Again, I hope your up for the challenge, have fun.

Anything BUT Square


Hello,  Cardz 4 Guyz,  are back from their Christmas Break, all ready
 to get started with their challenges for 2016.
The first challenge is to make a project which can be
ANYTHING BUT SQUARE
The Design Team have some wonderful inspiration for you to see.

For my DT card I have printed material from a CD.
Fabulous Fellas by Katy Sue Designs.
I matted it onto a card, made from a template on the CD. 
The clocks are decoupaged.
The 2016 is from a Sapphire Die.
The greeting is computer generated.
I added a few black gems to decorate some areas. 
Some blending with Walnut Stain and Gathered Twigs Distress Inks.

Iris Folding



Happy New year from everyone at Make My Monday.
We are starting the year with our first challenge, asking to see some
IRIS FOLDING
This technique may be new to you, it may not. Please go to blog to 
see the Design Team's inspiration, plus links to how to do Iris Folding 
and for free patterns. A new year, maybe you would like to learn or re-visit 
Iris Folding.
I used a purchased white scallop edge card. 
I have adored my Iris Folding Butterfly with silver peel offs around 
the butterfly shape. Matted the panel onto silver mirri card.
Added some crystal gems and a silver peel off greeting.

Ringin' In The New Year'


Hi, everyone, my friends over on CD Sunday Challenges are welcoming in the new year 
with a challenge  - ' Ringin In The New Year' 
I am sending good wishes to everyone and thank you all for 
your wonderful challenge blog. 
I used a white scallop edge card.
The background paper is of a wine bottle and glasses.
The main image is matted onto white card with a punched edge, 
then matted onto turquoise blue card.
The paper and image are from the go to CD in my collection. ...
La Pashe Best of 2012.
The main image has a few decoupage items, hoping they can be seen.
I stamped, coloured with pencils, two bottles of champagne, from 
La Blanche.

A Vintage Christmas Tag


Happy New Year to all of my visitors.

Today being the first of the month,  it is time for the all year round Christmas challenge blog
to share their new challenge, which has been chosen by Babs. 
A Vintage Christmas Tag
I do hope you pop over for a peep at the DT's inspirational work.
For my tag, the main focal point is Santa from an Inkadinkado stamp
I have had for ever and ever., and I still love it.
I stamped the snowflakes with Versamark, added white EP from Stampendous
I then stamped Santa, placing a mask over his face.
I blended Distress inks Iced Spruce and Chipped Sapphire.
I coloured Santa's face with Promarkers and his glasses with a Sakura Gelly Roll black pen.
I stamped the greeting onto vellum, added some crystal gems and a ribbon to the tag.
