L is for Leaves

Hello again, here we are another month almost over. 
Today we start a new challenge at Alphabet Challenges.
Meg one of our new design team members has chosen
L is for Leaves

My card is white with Brown and Yellow matted to the card.
The main image is an Autumn wreath created by stamping
different shaped leaves in different ink colours.
I used Tapestry peg stamps. The inks were  a mixture,
of Versamark  and Distress Inks  
Black gems added to each corner.

Beautiful Backgrounds

Hello, thanks for your viist. Today we begin a 
new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz.   I have chosen
Beautiful Backgrounds - All Your Own Work

Base is a white 6" sq. card. Black card to mount main image.
Distress Inks swiped across to create the background.
Sprayed and splattered with water. Patted and heat dried,
Using Versa fine Black Onyx ink stamped 
Vintage Nativity by Woodware stamps.

Anything Goes Christmas #35

Hello, thanks for popping by. We have a new two weekly
the challenge 
Anything Goes (Christmas) #35

 it would be a shame to miss them. 
My card is a small DL  - 7" x 3.5" perfect for a bunch of 
envelopes I was given which are  this size. 
I used a sparkly foil card for the mat. 
White stamping card for the stamped image - 
Christmas Bells by Woodware Stamps
I added a few doodles here and there.
I coloured with several Promakers and glitter pens. 
A few peel off silver dots  added. 

Bugs


Hello, thanks for your visit, a new challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz
starts today. We would like to see BUGS - Please check the blog
for more information, also to see  amazing projects by the DT.
For my background I have used papers from my stash.
The bugs have been printed from Clip Art freebies.
I used a punch for the circles, added dots and leaves.
Fixed all the bugs with 3d stickers. 
Die Cut the greeting. Have fun.

An Aperture Card

Hello, today we begin a new challenge at
Back to Basics and Beyond, we are still a new blog, 
and would love to have you visit us.
Have you ever made an Aperture Card ?
This is our challenge, come on give it a try, or even renew 
the knowledge and skill you already have. 
The Design Team had fun with the challenge, take a look
at the fabulous creations they made. 
I have made another Christmas card, you can't have too many.
A white 6" sq. card, with a centre circle die cut. I then
embossed the card with a snowflakes E.F. then lightly brushed with blue ink.
Using the circle die cut I stamped an image by
Litttle Claire - Star of Wonder.
Coloured with Promarkers. Stuck onto a larger white circle onto
pale blue paper. Added a blue die cut seasonal greeting.

Back to School


Hello, first I apologise for the blueness of my photo, 
I have decided to stop trying to make the photos look good 
with the north of the country light v indoor light.
A light box was ordered today, so no excuses for future pics.

Amy has chosen 'Back to School'

I made a stepper card to accommodate all of the 
clip art I managed to find. 
The 123 and abc are die cuts. The banner and greeting 
are stamps. The image is the little boy going Back to School
by LOTV. Coloured with Promarkers and pencils. 
Have fun everyone, the little ones will soon be 
going back to school, more crafting tiime ahead!!. ?

My card was inspired by a card in the
Hunkydory Cardmaking kit # 7
White card, red backing paper.
An Embossing folder to emboss the vellum scene,
on a dark blue background.
Stamps in the lower corner and the die cut
hot air balloons and cloud are also in the 
kit mentioned above.

Hello, I am hoping after the few days of very heavy rain,
that our wonderful summer is not already over. The Met Office
has said it will improve again for another week, but not so hot.
Today at Sparkles Monthly Challenges we begin a new challenge.

For my card, I was inspired by a card in the 
Hunkydory Cardmaking Colletion #7
The background sea shell stamps were stamped with Brushed Corduroy DI
All stamps were coloured with Promarkers and  pencils.
The centre design was coloured with various Distress Inks,
All the stamps are in the same kit as above.

Anything Goes Christmas #34

Hello, thanks for your visit. Today we begin a new two weekly
with Anything Goes  - Christmas #34

We currently have a DT Call going if you are interested.
For my card, I used a scallop edge white card, 
Black card for the mat background.
Design paper from a Christmas paper pad.
A die cut label in black with an image from a 
Pollyanna  Pickering Christmas Kit. 
Greeting is a die cut.
Gems added to decorate. 
This card and all other preceeding donkey cards
were sent to a local Donkey Sanctuary to help with
their fund raising.

More Than One Fold

Today at My Time To Craft we begin a new two weekly
challenge - More Than One Fold.

My card has several folds.  I CASEd it from a Hunkydory 
Inspiration kit #7. It involved stamping and colouring 
to create the scene. 
The stamps, and papers are all included in the kit.

Use a Digital Image

Hello again, another challenge starts today for 
We would like you to use and maybe colour a 
Digital Image - this may be a new medium for you or
one you frequently use.
Check out the blog above for more information, and 
of course to see the wonderful creations by the design team. 
I made a 5.5 " sq card, covered it with pink spotted 
designer paper from a new pad in the Works - 
Wimsical Pastels, these are such amazing value paper pads
and great quality - highly recommend them.
The flowered paper is also from the pad.
The digital image is a freebie of a Gorguss girl ,
coloued with Promarkers. The little greeting
is from a Hunkydory stamp set.
I fussy cut all the small flowers from the flowery patterned 
paper and stuck them around the die cut.
Patience strained but it took the bearness away.

For my card, I used a 7" scallop edge white card.
The papers were printed from a CD Kimono-
-Crafter's Companion Inspiration CD Issue #7
The stamped images are from a stamp set free with 
a magazine. Coloured with Promarkers and a gold pen.
Matted onto gold mirri.
Have fun with your Oriental card making.

A Sketch

Hello, we begin a new challenge today at Cardz 4 Galz
Wendy has given us a sketch  - you will find it on the 
challenge blog along with some amazing ideas and designs 
by the terrific Design Team. 
For my card, I used papers from a 12x6 pad of paper Beach Works
contrasting on white card.
All the elements, the  stamped bird, the hot air, die cut balloon and
the stamped deckchairs are all from a 
Hunkydory Cardmaking Collection --Number 05

A Krafty Christmas


Hello, it's that time of the year when we start to see more and
more Christmas cards entered into the challenges, but we expect 
nothing more at Sparkles Christmas Challenges, each month we
challenge you to make a card for the Christmas or Holidays season.
Our challenge for August was chosen by me (Caz), 
A Krafty Christmas
The Design Team have some fabulous cards to inspire you, please pop
over to check out the blog and for any details. 
I used a bought scallop edge Kraft card, used white card to mat the
background paper and the circle image.
All papers are from a paper pad by LOTV - A Krafty Christmas.
The image and pheasant on a log are by Hobby Art stamp set
- Farmhouse Set. I used white EP to heat emboss the stamped images.
Added a few extra snow details with a white gel pen. Of course I
had to add some glitter here and there, though it sadly doesn't show.
