Flowers

hellow and welcome ot my blog. Today we begin a new challenge at Make My Monday. Pamela has chosen #199 Flowers. Such a variety of choices available. I know you will enjoy creating a card with flowers. To see the inspiration from the design team, please go to the blog.
I used a white tall slimline card. The mat is a pale blue card. The main white panel was edged with Tumbled Glass DI. The stamps are Botanical Wishes included in the Simply Cards and Papercrafting magazine #241. I used the technique of wet splodging with diluted Distress Oxide  - Lucky Clover to colour the bottle, which was dried and fussy cut. The stems of the flowers stamped onto the neck of the bottle. The flowers were stamped onto a seperate white card, coloured with Promarkers. Glitter added here and there. Fussy cut and both the bottle and flowers glued to the card. Sentiment from the set stamped. Glass domed beads glued to the card.

Black and White

Hello, and welcome to my blog. Today we begin a new challenge at Alphabet Challenges. Veronika has chosen B is for Black and White. To see the wonderful inspiration by the design team, please visit the blog.
I made a 6" sq white card. I used a Cuttlebug Embossing folder to create two strips of patterned black card looking like metal plates. I added a strip of black and white designed paper down the outer third. I stamped the motorbike from Personal Impressions 3 times, adhering parts to the 3 squares. Adding 3 silver gems and a circular greeting from my stash. The reason I chose to make the above card is I made a card for a challenge of Embossing at Cardz 4 Guyz just a few days ago and the embossing folder and stamp were still on my desk. Enjoy your crafting.

Cocktails

Hello, thanks for your visit. Today we begin a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz. Dawn has chosen
#197 Cocktails. To see the inspiration created by the design team, please visit the blog.

I used a slimline card, 8" x 4". A black mat. I was inspired by a photograph of a card in a magazine. I didn't use the technique featured but followed the design. The inspiration was featured in Creative Stamping #98 - the stamps by Hunkydory and the article was 'Fun with Fruit'. The stamps I blended for the background and the fruity cocktail were All Distress Inks - Mustard Seed, Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade, Picked Raspberry and Festive Berries. Have fun, stay well and happy crafting.

Easel Card

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today we begin a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz. It being my turn on the rota, I chose one of my favourite folded cards ;- #196 An Easal Card, there are many styles of this folded card which makes them so interesting. To see the designs by the design team, please visit the blog above.

I started with a 6" scallop edge card, I then adhered to the flat piece, a mat of gold mirri. I then folded the front of the card in half, scored and burnished with a bone folder. I added gold mirri to the folded over piece, leaving the back plain. Once the mirri mats were secure I then cut and added pieces of card from the Hunkydory Spring Birdsong designed card. Finally I added small additions, one acting as the stopper. Gold sparkly gems added. I hope you enjoy the challenge.
