Let's see some Holly

Hello and welcome to my challenge. Today we begin our monthly Sparkles Christmas Challenges and for the month of Septemeber, #176 Let's see some Holly. To see the remainder of the design team please visit the blog.

I began with a 6" white card. The background I used a piece of paper from a Hunkydory Essential pad - Christmas Kraft. On a pece of white stamping card I stamped the Woodware stamp of a Holly Wreath and two corners.I  used Two shades of green for the holly and two shades of red  Promarkers for the wreath. The sentiment is also on the stamp set. Once I uploaded the photo I soon saw the mishap with the red gems, sorry about this, I have since repaired the mess. Finally the decorated square was matted onto a piece of gold Mirri. Take care and happy crafating.

Pearly Sparkles - Pink, Pearls and Sparkle

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today at Pearly Sparkles, we begin our new challenge  which is in loving memory of Tracy, the original owner, who began this challenge blog.

Our challenge is #109 Pink, Pearls and Sparkle, all favourites of Tracy. To see the inspiration from the design team please visit the blog.

I bagan with a 7" sq. card. I added a gutted sheet of pink glitter card. I blended the edges of a white card with Picked Rasberry DI. The dress stamp is by Daisy B, sadly no longer in business.I used various Pink related Promarker alcohol pens to colour the dress, I added silver peel off stickers for gems. The bow was an addition to the design. Sparkle, a Daisy B stamp was heat embossed with Magenta Pink Wow! EP.  The sentiment is from my stash, die cut with pink and silver. Silver gems added and for the final touch, three very small grey pearls were added to decorate the coat hanger.
