Baubles

Hello, thanks for your visit. Today we begin a new challenge at Sparkles Christmas Challenges. Dawn, a design team member has chosen #181 Baubles. To see the wonderful inspiration by the design team, please visit the blog.

I began with a 5 x 7 inches scallop edge white card. I added a red mirri card border for sheet #1 from a Hunkydory Little Book - A Cherished Christmas. A second red mirri card was added to a reduced in size #2 sheet. From sheet #1, I had fussy cut a red, white and green bauble, which I then added with foam pads to the baubles onto sheet #2.I added a few small red gems. The sentiment, Christmas Wishes, is a Hunkdory die. I do love to fussy cut and create decoupaged items.

Pearly Sparkles - Hearts

Hello, welcome to my blog. Today at Pearly Sparkles we begin a new challenge, chosen by Claire, on the design team. The challenge is #116 Hearts.

I began with  a white scallop edged 5 x 7 inch card. I added for the backgound a hologrphic silver card. Using a Cut and Embossing folder, enclosed with a Simply Cards and Papercraft #201 magazine, I used pink card with flowers and the centre die cut hear. I stamped the sentiment, adding a snall stamped heart. I added a stsmped sentiment Happy Birthday. Finally I added coloured  silver stickers to the floower centre.  (I apologise for the green glow, I think it may be the reflective result from the holographic card with the small LED's in my light box. )- or whatever??

Dragonfly Deams - Fun Fold or Shaped Card.

Hello, welcome to my blog. Today at Dragonfly Dreams, Pamela, from the design team has chosne for our challenge  Fun fold or a Shaped Card. To see the inspiration from the design team, please visit the blog.

For my card, it began as an 8" sq. card, and finally measured 5" x 7" I believe it is called a Dutch style card, maybe you can help me with the correct title for this fun fold. All of the fancy papers, the elephant topper style designs are from a Hunkydory Picture Perfect Paper Pad -  Splash of Colour. The plain blue background paper is from a Duo-tone Mattastic Paper Pad, also from Hinkydory. I enjoyed making this folded card, it was my first attempt but I'm sure I'll be making it again. I was surprised how easy it was.
