W is for Woodland Flora or Fauna

Hello thanks for your visit. ~Today we begin a new challenge at Alphabet Challenges. Meg has chosen        W is for Woodland Flora or Fauna. Please check out the blog for details and to see the wonderful inspiration from the DT. My card 6" sq has been deorated with papers and the main image from a kit I purchased from Create and Craft TV - Makers being Creative Crafting World, the kit is called                     Whisper of Autumn. The papers and images are beautiful, they  will make lots of beautiful cards. Something different for my batch making for the local charity shop for when they re-open after lockdown.  You can't see it clearly but I added Glossy Accents on the berries which stand out off camera. Thanks for taking the time to look, stay safe, stay well and currently stay warm.

Hello, welcome to my blog, today begins a new challenge at MTTCC (My Time To Craft Christmas) - for the challenge Granmargaret has chosen #3 Christmas Wreaths. Please visit the blog for details and to see the wonderful display of Christmas Wreaths from the design team.

I made a 6" card with silver/grey lightly sparkly card. Using gold, silver and ivory card I cut three rings,  placed over each other to form a wreath. An XCut star punch for the snowflakes, Sprigs in grey and white , dies from The Works.  Jewels added to the snowflakes.  Sentiment from my stash.  I have decided looking at this photo, I need to randomely add three very small AB gemstones to the card.   Take care and enjoy your crafting.

Pink and Brown

Hello everyone, I hope you are safe and well and if in the UK, I expect you are staying indoors, not just for the lockdown but to keep warm. We have had lots of short lasting snow flurries which over the day have amounted to probably over 6" deep.  This is the most snow I can remember here for maybe over 10 years or more. Good time to be crafting, I think, so let me get on. Today we start a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz. Helen has chosen for us #140 Pink and Brown. Please check the blog for details and to see the DT's inspiration.

On my white 6" sq card I added a mat of dark brown card, the background paper is a light pink sheet of Gorguss background papers, as is the brown and pink horizontal strip of paper. A light pink circle die and a brown oval die are the background layers for the white oval die with the Gorguss stamp - Forget-me-Not. I coloured the stamp with Zig Colour watercolour pens. Added flowers made from flower dies. The sentiment is from LOTV. Pink shiny pearls added. Enjoy your crafting, stay safe and warm. xx

Hello everyone, how are you? Thanks for your visit. Well here we are in lockdown and now we have snow and lots of it.  Please be careful out there. Todfay at Cardz 4 Guyz we have challenge # 264 CAS. Please pop to the blog for more details and to see how the DT have created inspiration for you.  We look forward to your entries.
For my 6" sq. card, I have matted it with black card to give a bold background for the CAS white card providing the main image. I water brushed two colours for the background with Distress Inks. Dried this before stamping the crane from a magazine set of stamps - By the Water - Creative Stamping #86.
The crane was coloured with Zig Colour waterbrushes. The sentiment is also from my stash.

Shaped Card -Not Square or Rectangle.

Hello, my second challenge card today.  Make My Monday begins today for the next two weeks,  Meg has chosen for the challenge #141 Shaped Card - Not a Square or a Rectangle. Please check the blog for details and to see the wonderful inspiration from the talented design team.
For my card, as soon as I saw this card in a magazine, I just had to have a go at making it.  It is fiddly and time consuming but I enjoyed the process and am happy with the result, my thanks to the original designer of the card in Creative Stamping # 92. All the stamps were with the magazine. A collection of all sorts of sports, which will suit lots of the male members in our family. I splodged the colours on an A4 sheet which was cut to provide the circle and the lower folded section. Watch out for these stamps for I know I wil be making cards with them, as long as I can find a reason or a challenge to suit.
Take care, stay safe and enjoy your crafting, it does help with the long hours in the day.

Snowman/men

Hello, I hope all is well with you, thanks for your visit.  This is the first of two of my challenges today, so please look above and below this one, it has been a busy few days for these challenges. Starting today we have our monthly challenge Sparkles Christmas Challenges, Angela has chosen #121 Snowman/men. Please check the blog for details and inspiration from the design team.

For my card, I have a layer of Dreamees Happy Chistmas paper and a strip of snowflake paper from their wonderful CD. Simply Christmas.  A circle die for my image, from Hobby Art - Snowy Wishes. The stamp has been coloured with Promarkers and DI Tumbled Glass for the background.  Of course there is glitter - Diamond Frost - for the snow.  Enjoy your crafting, it is keeping me calm, most of the time.
