Using a Die or Punch

Hello and welcome to my blog, today we begin our new challenge at Make My Monday. Pamela has chosen #247 Use a Die or a Punch or even both. To see the wonderful inspiration from the design team, please visit the blog.

For my card, firstly I apologise for the poor light and shadows. I live in the far north of England, and am so looking forward to springtime light. Plus I have a new camera, a new camera/computer/photo programme and you can see, I haven't as yet mastered it.

I began with a white 5" x 7" base card. I die cut a white and a lilac Moonstone Sketchy Circle. A white then a patterned small butterfly, an assortment of small flower dies. Added these all to the card.I also added lilac gems  to the flower centres and to the butterfly. I stamped the sentiment with a lilac stamp from my stash. Hope you are enjoying our challenges. Best wishes to you.

Then cut him out and placed at the base of the heart. I die cut the HUGS word using a Hunkydory die, and stamped & Kisses from the duo die and stamps set. The stamped hearts being blown by the elephant are also for the Tracey Hey set of stamps.
