Embossing Wet or Dry

Hello again, after a restful weekend, it is time to start getting
busy making some cards.
Today we begin a new challenge at Make My Monday
which was chosen by Meg - Embossing Wet or Dry.
So it's time to either get out your embossing folders or your
embossing powders. Or even a combination of both.
Why don't you pop over to see the inspiration from the DT?
I watercoloured onto my card with shades of blue and green.
Dried it and stamped with Versafine Black ink  -Funky Flowers
and a Happy verse by Cafty Roo stamps,  sprinkled with
fine clear embossing powder, heat set.
I painted the flower with Sparkle glitter pens.
I matted onto black card with a trip of hessian, 3 brads,
with cord wrapped around the brads. Have fun.

A New Challeng Blog Starting

Wow! I am super excited today - I am starting a NEW challenge blog.
I feel there is a need to encourage and provide a platform for
newbies, both in the crafting and blogging world.
So here it is - to educate, encourage and nurture.
We are a small DT at present, we have a DT Call  to increase
our numbers over the coming weeks, interested?
Please pop over to the blog to see what we are up to.
For Challenge # 1 we are starting with
Matting and Layering.
Here is my card to show two level of matting and layering.
I used black card and mirri card to mat the main image,
I used mirri card only for the back mat panel. I printed the
main image and patterned papers from the Decadent Days section
from the USB #02 by Hunkydory.
Black and silver ribbon with crystal gems to embellish.
