Monochrome Time @ MMM

Another week, another challenge, it is time for a CAS ( Clean and Simple) project at  Make My Monday.
Can I give a reminder of what CAS is considered to be?

It's all about the design
* not the technique
* not the tools
* not the embellishments

It's all about the design
* Uncluttered
* lots of white or open space
* one main focal point

It's all about the design

Our theme within the CAS style is for MONOCHROME, which means one colour, you can of course add a contrast such as white, cream, grey or even black. I chose to have green, my small contribution to honour St. Patrick's Day, yesterday. I first stamped onto white card with Versamark and heat embossed with Stampendous
White Detailed powder, heat dried, then I cut it with a label die. I sponged coloured it with TH Distress Inks Peeled Paint, leaving it in the die to provide a white edging. I then stamped with the same ink but in Forest Green with the same stamp, which is from Stamps Away - Wild Flowers. I believe this is called Shadow Stamping and you can see why. It is achieved by lowering your second stamping so it is as directly above as possible, then you simply move a tiny bit up or down and either right or left, whichever you choose will give a shadow effect.
There have been some amazing entries of late to MMM, I am so looking forward to visiting you once again.
